   Came here for lunch with my wife before heading to Murrayfield on my 60th birthday. We had 5 of the small dishes between us and honestly i couldn’t fault any of them. However I would say the one dish you must order is the Haggis bon bons they are heavenly, even if you think you don’t like haggis these are fantastic. The staff are really friendly and efficient. Great experience really enjoyed the food will be back next time we’re in Edinburgh. Well done Angels with Bagpipes

   Walked in without a reservation and was able to get a table. As a solo diner I found it to be a great atmosphere and vibe! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was truly delicious! Would not hesitate to come again! Great place to share a bunch of small plates with friends!

   First visit into the city and was taken to angels with bagpipes and it didn’t disappoint. We tried a few small plates including the haggis bonbons, which I’ve never had before, plus steak and chips. All the food was lovely and good service. Sat outside as it was busy so would recommend booking in advance but was a lovely evening sitting outside and eating. Highly recommend visiting if you would like a special meal out.

   Really friendly staff and outstanding service from the minute we walked in. Was warmly greeted and taken to our table straight away. We had prebooked which I would recommend if you are fancy where you sit. Food was of a very high standard and not too expensive but also not cheap. Good selection of small tapas like plates.

   Located in a touristy area, but don’t be discouraged. The food here is excellent. The servers worked as a team and were awesome. We had numerous small plates and a dessert. I also supposed multiple scotches which were well priced for that area. Will be going here again during this trip.

   You can’t afford to miss it. Just make sure you book a table and it’s confirmed. Our first booking was cancelled during first visit to Edinburgh. So we tried again and eventually had a chance to try contemporary take on Scottish food. Great food, great staff and great vibe. Easily the best dinner we had during 4 day stay in the area.

   I had a fantastic experience here. Not only is the food amazing, but the waiters were so kind and helpful. The menu had so many delicious items it was hard to choose what we wanted for dinner. The lamb and braised beef were amazing. Easily one of my favorite meals I've had in Edinburgh. It was very close to everything as well, so very convenient as far as fitting it into the day.

   Loved it, really good modern British cuisine and nice service. We had bread, a shared starter a main and a shared cheese platter and were very happy with everything. Ambience is also lovely, split over two floors. Place is pretty huge! We booked in advance online. Also great name in my opinion!

   Had the two courses lunch. Overall it was pretty nice the waitress was very friendly and food was pretty great. Chicken was a bit dry and hard to cut through but the red cabbage that came with the chicken was cooked beautifully. Knife needed to be sharper to cut through the broccolini. The haggis starter was pretty beautifully done

   I wish I could give 6 stars! I had the turkey... everything was cooked to perfection! The flavours were stunning. Each element was amazing. This was the best meal I've ever had. The staff were incredibly attentive. If you're in Edinburgh and you can visit, it's a must!
