Just picked up my order, chicken chow mein had so much salt tasted horrible. Honey ribs looked horrible and were tough and horrible. Pancake roll, soft and horrible not nice at all. Not the Jasmine I use to use, WILL NEVER go there again.
We order a big dinners cost over £55 , food tasteless, just bland. Chips overcooked, brick hard, found a long hair in one of the dinners, also found bits of bone too in chicken. So not the same ,not very enjoyable to eats
Went to this restaurant and the food we got wasn't very good. The beef was a bit chewy, the prawn crackers were soggy and you needed a magnifying glass to find the apple in it. Also the food wasn't very warm.
I ordered a prawn curry and rice my girlfriend had chicken and cashew nuts takeaway, they all arrived hot and tasty. We were on a holiday break so we decided to have a treat and not cook on the last night of our holiday. Would highly recommend this place.
Waited over an hour, ordered salt and chilli chips, vegtabek chow mein, boiled rice and rice paper prawns. The chips were cold and soggy, no taste to them, the chow Mein was tasteless, the rice was boil In a bag, not fluffy, the prawns were unedible waited so long we wnd uo making our own quick curry at home. Ordered vegetable chow mein, salt & peppers chips, rice and rice paper prawns. Chow mein tasteless Salt & pepper chips where terrible normal salt and pepper plus like rubber Rice over cooked Rice paper prawns..greasy. All food was cold. Dont waste your time or money
I was absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated tonight by the female manager - ‘Tina’. I ordered a delivery which arrived around an hour later. When opened I realised that they had not included the chicken fried rice that I had ordered and instead of chicken chow mein with fried rice in the same container, I was given a large portion of chicken chow mein and a separate portion of fried rice. When I phoned to let them know that it was the wrong order I was told “well you weren’t charged for it so that’s ok”. I explained that it was supposed to be my dinner and that I would still like it with the reply being ‘one hour’. I told the woman that this was very unfair as it was her mistake. She then started shouting down the phone “we are busy, we are busy, we are busy!” I asked to speak to another member of staff to which she said there is no one here. This was a blatant lie as I could hear the girl on the phone next to her taking orders. After shouting over me for 5 minutes and not listening to a word I was saying she hung up on me. I called back and she shouted “10 minutes” and hung up. The man came to deliver the rice about half an hour later and said that he had been told to charge me full price despite the fact that she had got the order completely wrong in the first place. When he called she backed down to £2 instead of £6.60, despite the fact that it should still have been free. I have never experienced anything like that before, her behaviour was shocking and showed complete disrespect. I order from there every weekend but I will certainly not be going back.
Was craving Chinese food during our roadtrip in Scotland and so glad to find this gem. Cantonese-style cooking but it has been localised so don't expect authentic Hong Kong style here. Me and my husband were the only Asians when we visited for dinner on a Saturday (Easter weekend). Called about half hour ahead to book a table. Owner was very friendly, offered chopsticks and more rice! I assume since we were Chinese, the owner did caveat to us that the sweet and sour pork was made with char siew meat, not the usual pork butt. Which was helpful to set our expectations!
Takeaway was okay, there was nothing really bad with meals but just same as any other Chinese in local area so my rating is probably more 3.5 stars and would possibly use them again if passing.
