We have just had a Christmas get together here and it was superb. There were 13 of us for a festive lunch. The food was delicious. The turkey and vegetables cooked to perfection. All courses were lovely and tasty. Service was amazing. Thoroughly recommend.

A lovely local pub which uses local supplies . We had a breakfast (Saturdays Only ) , beautiful 4 egg omelette and egg on toast . Nice coffee and we were looked after by Sharon who was very attentive and efficient . The log burner was a bonus in a cold day . Also enjoyed a veggie pie and mash in the week which was fab . Give it a go.

What better way to end or start the week ahead than have some good ole Sunday Roast. We have been going to Codrington Arms for a few years now and we have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and fresh prepared and homely. For those who love gravy, it is rich and flavoursome and compliments the Sunday roast. If you are looking for good Sunday roast, that is presented nicely and doesn't look like a school dinner, then I would highly recommended you drop in and enjoy some Sunday roast. I'm sharing photos of our most recent visit, Roast Beef and Gammon Steak and brownie for dessert. Looking forward to our next visit.

Called in for a pot of lunch en route visiting family. We weren’t disappointed…! Being a warm afternoon we chose a Chicken Salad - Grilled Chicken breast served warm with a mixed leaf salad with some superfood grains and beans lightly dressed in a delicious dressing. and Ploughman’s Platter all I will say is if I’m gonna be a ploughman I’d want this kitchen to prepare lunch! Thick slices of home cooked ham, mature cheddar, freshly baked sausage roll, hard boiled egg, salad leaves and pickles with some fresh bread what is there not to love? We only found The Codrington Arms after a google search and we were impressed by the reviews, we can see why they are so highly rated. In this day and age pubs need our support and they are working hard to deliver quality and value. Yes they cost more than the chain pubs BUT do they offer quality… We noticed there is a good sized beer garden where food can be served and on Sundays they offer A roast, bouncy castle and after the roast ends they fire up the pizza oven and Pizza is the order of the day. Keep up the good work guys & thank you for a delicious lunch.

We went here on a Saturday evening, as a group of 12. We reserved at table before hand and they had everything ready when we arrived. To help the pub out we preordered our main courses. The staff were very friendly. When it came to our food coming out, everything was perfect and delicious. Like home made food. Definitely recommend coming here.

Had a great time with tasty food. The roast was great, so were the sides. Personnel was nice, they checked with us if everything is okay and we didn't need to wait at all to be noticed when we were ready to pay. The building is nice.

Not too impressed on my first visit to this place. Ordered a couple of beers (Neck oil from beavertown), very tasty. Opted for the squid, portion size was an issue, only 5 small pieces. And I've not come across lumpy yellow aeoli before. Glad I ordered the slaw to act as a filler, which was fresh and crispy. All in all, woefully overpriced for the fare on my plate.

Friendly staff and good service. Dirty fries were good, the rest was average but enjoyable. Desserts looked great! Nice decor, clean and good space for children or to enjoy the outdoors, in the beer garden at the rear.
