What a fantastic find. Staff really friendly and welcoming. The restaurant felt homely and we can not fault anything about this place. The food was absolutely delicious, served hot and more than enough to feed a hungry customer. We spent 3 hours eating, drinking and chatting and we were comfortable. There seemed to be a lot of regular customers eating and the staff were so friendly. If I could rate this place I would give it 10 stars

We had dinner at The Golden Circle in Saltford last night and it was a very good experience overall. The place has a comfortable, spacious layout and the seating is much better than you get in most restaurants. The atmosphere is already nice, though I kept thinking a bit of soft oriental music or a light touch of incense would lift it even more. Service was polite and attentive, and the food came out quickly. My only small suggestion would be for staff to check in once or twice during the meal, just to see if we’d like another drink or if everything’s going well. Parking was easy too, either over the road or at the Tesco next door. The food itself was excellent. I ordered an extra-spicy dish and it really stood out. I’m not an expert on spices, but this one felt very intentionally put together. The heat came in layers rather than just hitting all at once. There was that sharp kick you get from bird’s eye chilli, but underneath it a warmer, deeper spice that added colour and roundness. I’m fairly sure there was a bit of Sichuan pepper too, giving that light tingling effect that makes the flavours open up rather than just burn. I could taste hints of garlic and what seemed like galangal, adding a citrus-ginger brightness. Altogether it created a nice progression: the initial heat, then the aromatic middle notes, finishing with a slow warm aftertaste. It felt properly balanced instead of just “hot for the sake of it”. I’ve added a couple of photos so you can see how well it was presented. I’d definitely go back.

This is a fabulous family run restaurant. Whenever I travel from London to visit my mother, we try to eat at Golden Moments. The food is fantastic as is the atmosphere and the staff. They are extremely helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The atmosphere is welcoming and is it cosy on a winter night. Always busy. We were a party of 6 people and one of the waiters, a young lad, was new to his job and what I really liked was the owner praising him for doing well and when he made a small mistake he didn’t reprimand or embarrass him, he just explained to him how it was done so he would know next time. A great example of leadership. If you are looking for a good Indian restaurant with excellent food, good prices, lovely atmosphere and great staff - this is the place to come. Thank you to the whole team for making our evening so enjoyable. See you again soon.

Food was nice but my party of 4 didn’t take to the staff. They came across rude and in a rush. It just didn’t feel welcoming and due to the busyness of the place we were sat right by the door where people were standing to be seated. Can’t say I’d recommend.

We moved to the area around 4 months ago and we’ve had a GM about 8 times!! So delicious, we’ve tried something new each time and we can’t fault it. The best Indian takeaway we’ve ever had and so happy it’s on our doorstep now. We’ve only had takeaways due to treating ourselves once little one is in bed but keen to dine in when we can. Staff have always be polite and it’s busy when we have gone to collect. Can’t wait for the next one, and the one after that…

Good food, better than many British Indian restaurants. Generous portions with decent chunks of meat in both Lamb main courses we had. Nicely spiced and different dishes actually tasted different rather than generic. Fair prices. Busy and slightly rushed service on Saturday evening. Assume it is more relaxed at other times.
