Nice local pub in Thornbury. There is a lounge and a bar side. Went in the evening to have a drink on a Friday night. DJ was good and brought atmosphere to the venue with some good tunes!

Excellent Sunday Lunch. We sat in the lounge bar with a lovely open fire. Options for 1,2 or 3 courses.

A lovely traditional pub. A great selection (4) of cask ale, all kept in perfect condition. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Probably the best pub in Thornbury

Looks quaint outside. Not so much inside. -3 outside. No fire. Asked server. In horror, she looked and said she would have to ask permission from owner upstairs. She did text. No answer was afraid to build and light fire. Was over 1 hr for landlord to to respond. Wasn't happening. ( No response) Sad state when patrons and staff wearing jackets. Disappointed. Oh, just fyi £4.50 for a pint. I think that seals the deal. Lovely young lady behind bar!!

Nice pub with more ciders than lagers on draft! I’d like to try the food here as looks like good and home cooked.
