We went for Christmas menu last night. Exceptional value the festive burger and pie were very good. However I had the Christmas Dinner which was a welcome return and great. The side of cauliflower cheese was delicious. The sundae and Christmas pudding were also very good. Thank you Kate and team. A great atmosphere from other tables there last night.

Ok I’m now getting really tired of buying food and handing it back and again today. I want this pub food to be really good and support the local community. On the last 12 months I’ve handed back 3-4 meal’s especially the steak, too tough and like rubber and asking for medium rare . Today was the ultimate disaster. A basic chicken wrap and the chicken was cold , far too cold then to be told it wasn’t cold , then when I asked did she taste it, to be told no, so I’m the customer and again so disappointed with the meals in this pub, easy food is good but a full meal is so rubbish. Sack the chef

A welcoming sizzling pub, friendly management and bar staff. Always lovely food and well kept beer. Pool table in use and sports showing on all the bar TVs. Family friendly place too! All in all 10/10!

Terribly hot could do with air conditioning. Waited 45 minutes for meals. The staff work very hard not enough staff waiting on tables. Just one overworked lady on thursday evening. She tried her best also a hot overworked chef looking very harassed. Food mediocre. Blood in steak when wanting medium well done. Usually go to turnpike but thought we'd have a change.

Wow, this pub is amazing! The service and food were excellent. The 241 Roasts are an incredible deal. The pub itself is lovely, and the bar staff were brilliant. We sat in the well-maintained beer garden on a really hot day. It's a really lovely local country pub.

I love this pub, meet with friends for the weekly quiz, always great promotions on the app. Friendly staff who are always smiling, helpful and nice to chat to.

I walked into this pub after a period of many years. I almost instantly saw my old scoutmaster from 30+ years ago. We looked at each other but neither of us even acknowledged the others' existence. Just how I wanted it. 5 stars.

Stripped here for the final course of our site seeing dining tour. Excellent selection of desserts, nice cocktails. Very warm indoors but great outdoor seating area.

Lovely meal here was a half hour wait but to be expected being a busy Friday evening. Drinks promptly served to table as ordered on app. Only 4 not 5* as they didn't bring out the dessert until I chased after 20 minutes. A lovely location and lovely food..we will definitely be back. Thanks for a lovely meal The Lamb Inn!

This was our first visit, it is a busy spot and we were able to get in after first phoning. Social distancing adhered too and the food was nice but just needed some seasoning. The desserts were lovely, the menu has loads of options and is well priced we would visit again.
