    Went to Tynings for my usual fish and chips but came away with a chicken chow mein and beef curry! The owners informed me that over the next few weeks they are rolling out a Chinese menu alongside the usual excellent fish & chips menu. At the moment there are only a handful of Chinese dishes on offer but this will build up in the weeks to come. The chow mein and curry I had were both very good indeed and I am eager to sample the full menu when it comes out.

    Great food, the chips are lush, nice fresh fish, fishcakes yummy. Staff not so good, a few times I've been there the staff haven't smiled at all, quite abrupt and don't seem happy at all. But the food is great. And they don't deliver anymore but it still says they do.

    The service was really good, staffs were polite. The place was very clean and I felt welcomed. The food was everything. I give more than a 5* and I personally think this is the best fish and chips place ever and I love fish and chips. I recommend the seafood basket also. This is my second trip for the day here.

    Has to be one of the best fish and chip shops about. Great portion sizes - sometimes you get a huge portion of chips you can't eat and a small fish. These guys do amazing chips, and the fish is always stunning. Highly recommended!

    The best fishcakes anywhere. As a frequent visitor to Tynings, I can confirm that all the food is freshly cooked and of excellent quality. The batter is light and crispy and they do gluten-free option on Tuesday and Thursday.
