   Cosy place on the riverside. Neatly kept rooms (rooms decorated to occassion. Chrismas decor was just right, not too loud, neither too subtle). And the charming girl at the reception, Mel, was very welcoming, attentive and courteous. Loved the overnight stay :)

   Beautiful location. Nice room. Noisy in the room during the evening, especially at the weekends. Don't expect to get to sleep before midnight. Breakfast is acceptable. The toast and jam need to be put on a separate plate though..... Friendly staff.

   We went here for food not the accommodation. We booked the same day online for 4pm. The restaurant was not very busy. The main reason we booked was for the Sunday carvery. The meat options looked lovely, beef, turkey or gammon. I had the gammon and beef. My favourite was the gammon which tasted wonderful. The beef was pink which is how I like it. The options for the veggies were really good range and all cooked very well. Sauce options and nice gravy. The only downfall was the plates were cold which made it go cold a bit quicker. Good value. Lovely service from the staff. We look forward to coming back.

   Stopped here for sunday lunch. Very friendly welcome and had a lovely table overlooking the river. Sunday carvery was very good very cheerful chef cutting the meats which is always nice to see. Lot's of vegetables to enjoy and everything cooked perfectly

   Hosted my parents 50th wedding anniversary party here this weekend, so many people commented what a great venue it was and how the food was amazing. Having both the indoor and outdoor space to ourselves made it flow really well. The staff working on the day were so helpful and friendly, thanks again.

   Had a night away at Riverside and we enjoyed our stay. Got a bus from around the corner in to Bath for a night out. Staff are very friendly and the location was good. Room was comfortable and clean and a nice view of the canal. Will go back again in the summer for another stay. Thanks all and have a lovely Christmas

   Great place to stay,about 5 miles from Bath, lovely room, nice full English breakfast Good pint on Wadsworth 6x as well. really friendly staff. £120 for the night for the room with breakfast for 2. Lovely location, right on the Avon,hence the name! Would definitely stay again next time in the area

   There were 4 adults and a 2 year old boy eating here and it was superb spending time at this lovely place in a great location with splendid views. The Sunday lunch carvery was spot on and after being served the main meat selection (of which two together are available on the adult dish) we were able to help ourselves to the veg.... And there is so much to chose from! Friendly, helpful staff along with a most reasonable cost made our visit all the more satisfying. I noticed that they were efficient, too! Come and eat here if you have not yet done so as you will be missing out on a very pleasant Sunday afternoon RECOMMENDED.
