Pretty good food at a reasonable price, you get what you expect. App order is very convenient, drinks arrived within minutes. Carvery had good selection and plenty of veg. Staff friendly and checked on the table. Would return!

Less than impressed with the whole experience. My wife and son had the carvery which had hard veg and raw potatoes even the meat and Yorkshire pudding being great didn’t redeem it. I had the gammon and chips which had what looked like a piece of gammon cooked by lighter and eggs that were so done they tasted powdery. Won’t be going back again will try somewhere where the quality of food matches the price. Totally underwhelmed by the whole experience.

My partner and I often dine here. The range of options is good and the menu caters to a range of different tastes. The food is always fresh and tasty. There is a large car park that's free to park in, some disabled spaces and a couple of electric charging spaces. The great thing is, you can choose to sit inside or outside. The outdoor seating area is pleasant, especially on a nice day. If you have children, there is a children's area in a section of the restaurant. This is great as it keeps children entertained and keeps other parts of the pub calmer as families with energetic kids tend to sit in the children's area! I often order the lasagne which is nice and cheesy, it also comes with chips, garlic bread and salad. I like the macaroni cheese too, this is tasty. My partner has tried the pie and chips which he rates highly, he really likes the pies and says they are high quality and tasty. The carvery is also great, the turkey is so fresh and delicious, the roast potatoes are great and the gravy is lovely. We've also had the Yorkshire pudding wrap that's served on the lunch menu, this is fantastic. On trying the burgers, it was the only option I've tried that I was a little dissapointed about. I tried the chicken burger and whilst it had a lovely crispy coating and it seemed like real chicken breast, it was so thin! There was almost more coating than chicken. This has potential be a really good burger, so it was a shame it was so thin, I wouldn't choose this again. You can choose to have 2 burgers but really, 1 should be sufficient. My partner tried the beef burger and this too was very thin. I often have icecream after a meal and it is really lovely! I particularly like the salted caramel and peppermint flavours. It's really good value for 2 scoops and a nice way to finish a meal. You can also get a flake and sauce included in the price which is a nice extra. The cakes are absolutely massive and impressive! They do offer a take home service for cakes, which is always a bit too tempting! Overall the meals we've had have been really tasty, fresh and satisfying (apart from the burgers!). The service is always really good, the staff are friendly, professional and very polite. I believe you can do reservations if required.

Been coming here over the 3 years my son's been at UWE. Fantastic value for money, friendly service - always busy. Carvery and varied menu. Delicious ice-cream, and the cakes are large portions, might need to be taken home! Plenty of parking, wheelchair access, clean toilets.

£7+ for a shandy and large lemonade. The shandy was 3/4 lemonade. Felt a bit overpriced but no big deal. Was advised food had a 30 min wait. Comes out after 45 minutes and the chips are cold on everything. We were a table of 5 for reference. Food was about the same quality as wetherspoons but more expensive. Will give 3* since the carvery actually looked quite good value and quality, so we may give that a final chance and adjust the review accordingly.

Great stuff all round, reasonably priced, everything catered for and you are not on top of each other. I’ve had family gatherings here and the odd business meeting or staff leaving meal and nothing is too much trouble . Big plus is cakes which winterstream are famous for and if you can’t manage it all you can have it packed and take it home with you. All in all great place to visit

Good, fast, efficient service. Spacious indoors and out. Good menu. Great Roast /Carvery. Delicious fish n chips. Standard pub decor and ambience. No pretentiousness here.

The food was good, reasonable price and the staff was nice. They have some kind of kids area, not a lot of things there, but kept them entertained for some time. We will definitely go again.
