Customer service is always amazing but today I was especially impressed by the young guy working who was so accommodating when my baby was crying and hungry, and he said to me I was welcome to feed her anywhere but could use the changing rooms to do so. Some people can be so uncomfortable about breastfeeding so it was so refreshing and really put me at ease :)
Arrived to collect a parcel to be told that they could not give me my parcel I had paid for because their system had went down. This was a collection which was fully paid online and I received a text telling me I could go and collect. After leaving the store I chose to call the Gyle centre Next store to be told that they also had the same issue however they had been processing collections for customers as there is another way of doing it using their tills. I was told that this way of processing is time consuming so I can only assume the staff at fort kinnard couldn’t be bothered. I was told they had 200 parcels in the back and it would take too long. I would suggest a more organised process in dealing with collections in the future.
I went there yesterday, with the intention of getting a new wallet - but one basically a new version of what I have. Sadly, none seemed to have sections for my disabled pass or photographs. So I tried a couple of other places without success. Why 'four stars'? The attitude of the young lady busy with something else, reminded me of how I was when I worked. JADE didn't just give vague directions on roughly were to look, she stopped what 'she was in the middle of' and took me right to them! JADE is 'the' Assistant to look out for as she was genuinely interested in me and actually seemed sorry that she (or Next) couldn't help! The next time I shop up there, I will look out for JADE and if she's not on duty that day, I'll leave and return when she is. NEXT should be proud of this employee.

Tried to call and ask if they carry maternity range in store, but it's impossible to get through. Got the call directed to the Fort Kinnaird store by customer service and no one has picked up on several occasions.
Ordered 3 items online to pick up in an hour in store as in stock ..get a text an hour later to say they can't find any of the items and I've been refunded ...poor service that !!
Like all Next stores, well laid out with defined areas for products. Racks were full of product, again as expected. Slightly disappointed that there isn't more in the age12-14 sizes. But staff were quick to point out their on-line availability and we were okay with that. Basically still a market leader for physical shopping experience.
My wife got a new office job and so I chummed her to get clothes. She was able to get a few and the prices were reasonable and competitive. What stood out was the service though from Sophie, our cashier. She was so bubbly and friendly and when my wife remarked that it was a pity they didn't have the jacket in her size Sophie immediately checked the warehouse. Found the required size and went off and collected it for us. The result, one very happy wife and one very impressed husband. It is extremely rare to see such professionalism these days, not only in retail. Sophie is a credit to Next and this experience has ensured we will return.
Fantastic service this morning served by Jacqueline. Helped my son getting kitted out in his first dress trousers and shirt. Knew her job well and made it a great experience for him. Will certainly look put for this member of staff again. Thank you.
