   Have known the Queen’s Head for many year’s, and the current landlord is the first person to make it a successful operation for some time. We attend regularly to partake in the Sunday Night quiz from 8pm, run in a friendly and inclusive manner by Su. Perhaps not a suitable event for young children. Always welcoming and Will is a great pub Landlord in the old style front of house fashion, engaging with his customers. Would recommend people give it a try. There are varied activities, should be something to suit many.

   I haven't been to the pub before but came to the quiz with my Dad. The atmosphere was pleasant and the quiz was handled well. Only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars was because the tables were really sticky but that aside no complaints.

   Without doubt the best in Hanham. Great community vibe, always a warm welcome, plenty of good beers and ciders. The food is good too. We had a Sunday roast today and it was terrific. I chose the roast pork and I can’t say enough good things about my meal. We really love it here.

   Took my mother here for mother's day, her response was "worse mothers meal I have ever had". Starters were bland, main meal was cold and all deserts were straight out of Icelands frozen section, the chef even admitted it was a boxed frozen desert. Apparently cheesecake in Italy is sponge with cream... Having worked for an Italian company for over 10 years and travelled Italy, a true Italian would be offended by that meal. There was no table service, sat there for 25 minutes and nobody offered to take a drinks request. I would avoid at all costs, better off getting a frozen meal from Iceland, at least you can make sure its hot!

   Well, since My last visit eight months ago what an improvement! The Landlord, Will and his humorous chef Freddie made Us feel so welcome, didn't get to meet the Landlady but even though there was a problem with the gas supply we were served delicious food. Lovely new decor and a (hopeful) return to the standards of the Pub before it resembled the bar from the original Star Wars! Please support this local Gem, Andy.
