I don't know how good the food is because it hasn't arrived! I have tried phoning Grillet 5 times, but to no avail. Uber eats were supposed to deliver the food, but just took the money and delivered nothing. Bloody hungry now though. And angry too.
It saddens me to write this. I'm sure they're lovely people. The food was soo disappointing. Simple thing - they got the order ( heat/ chilly) wrong but also the chips wrong ... Others might find them crispy. We found then hard and stale . Maybe if the customer service was good - they could have half redeemed themselves. they really need to pull their sucks up!!!
Unexpectedly really tasty. I ordered the half chicken meal with peri peri chips, it also comes with a drink. But wow was the chicken good! Chicken was moist and flavorful, and the chips were crispy and well seasoned! Would recommend to anyone!

I went all out and ordered the mixed donner chicken and lamb with garlic naan bread and peri peri chips. Let’s start with the chicken – honestly, a revelation. Juicy, flavorful, and the kind of taste that makes you forget how much you’ve had to drink. It's like they marinate it in pure happiness. Now, onto the lamb donner meat. Greasy? Absolutely. Delicious? You bet. But it’s the kind of greasy that makes your stomach send you a passive-aggressive email at 3 AM asking, “Why do you hate me?” I could feel the grease setting up a riot in my stomach, and let’s just say I wasn’t looking forward to the aftermath. The peri peri chips, oh boy. They were a bit of a letdown. Slightly hard, like they were having an identity crisis – are they crispy, or just overcooked? And the peri peri seasoning? Let’s just say it was playing hide and seek, and I lost. A bit more peri peri love would have gone a long way. But hey, the garlic naan bread was there to save the day. It was the hero we didn’t deserve but desperately needed. Soft, garlicky, and a perfect vessel to soak up all the rogue juices from the meat. Overall, GRILLET is the place to go when you need to soak up the night’s indulgences with some seriously tasty (and seriously greasy) food. Your taste buds will thank you, even if your stomach won’t. We been to store first time as we usually order online. We were acknowledged as soon we entered to the store, make us friendly welcome atmosphere. Request to swap some items on a sharing platter and straight away they helped us. Will definitely recommend and going to see you soon again.
Missed delivering chips as side when ordered along with the whole grilled chicken. When contacted the staff were rude to ask us to have the chicken without the side and acted like their responsibility is over as they delivered the main dish. They clearly failed to understand it's not a meal without delivering the side. Food was also cold due to huge delay in getting it delivered.
The food is absolutely delicious. The half chicken was amazing and very well seasoned. The wings were not too hot but tasted great. It was all great, not one complaint. Wish we had this in the U.S.
Extremely good. Lovely friendly men and woman working here. All food was hot (temp). Crispy fries, moist chicken, grilled bun, fresh salad. 4 star hygiene rating. Good prices. Lots of positives. I made mistake of choosing hot flavour and my mouth was on fire, they don’t offer medium so I auto chose hot as wanted a kick but looking through menu I think the mild is a medium equivalent but I didn’t realise that. Will be back. Well done guys, you’ve done yourself proud.
There are 2 things I don't do often: writing restaurant reviews and eating peri peri chicken. Tonight I did both and I regret nothing. The chicken was moist, beautifully seasoned and grilled to perfection. The cheesy chips were just as much cheese as chips. I have never eaten something so fast in my life. Will definitely be ordering again. Amazing price, too.
