Our party of four all had a roast dinner on a Sunday. The food was first class, the accompanying gravey was so rich and tasty. I was pleased to see it was possible to order a childrens/small portion. All in all it was a very good meal at a reasonable price and we hope to be back soon.

Was super impressed with the taste of the food. Both the grilled chicken burger and the cheesecake were tasty and simple. Loved it

After having walked the Stanton Drew to Pensford trail including a visit to the stone circles, we had worked up some appetite and it was only right to pay a visit to this village pub for lunch. They have a cosy bar area and also tables in other rooms. There is a large garden with picnic tables to also dine al fresco. On a weekday there were at least 20 people having meals either indoors or enjoying the sun outside, most seemed to have visited the stones just like us. My wife chose Salmon with harissa on a bed of couscous with various veggies and raita from their specials board. I had their homemade burger with skinny skin on chips, slaw and jam. Both were delicious and quantities were adequate. We gave into temptation and also sampled their Pecan pie with salted caramel sauce and clotted cream, yum yum! Christian who was managing the show looked after us very well, thank you!

Amazing pub we were so glad to find it, and the staff and patrons were ah so friendly. They accommodate allergies, I have a seafood allergy and they made the adaption to my meal. I had the burger with local bacon and cheese it was sublime, my mother had the Hong Kong Chicken which she loved and my husband had the Gammon and he thought it was amazing. Could not paise the place more perfect to go on a cold day as they have the fire lite

Absolutely fantastic. What a little gem of a country pub. Wednesday night is steak night but also a couple of others on, so we both had fish and chips. The welcome was lovely, staff top of their game in service and presentation. Food was so good, really juicy big piece of fish with loads of lovely chips and garden peas, all at a very reasonable price. Julie and her team are an absolute credit. Can't recommend it enough. Thanks everyone.

A wonderful pub! Friendly staff, an incredible food! Genuinely one of the best burgers I have had a long long time at a very reasonable price! Dog friendly, while we didn't bring our lab did get to see some wonderful furry friends. If you are looking for wonderful food and a chilled local British pub I cannot recommend the druid enough!

Cute little English country pub in a magical location by the stone circles. There is a huge grassy back garden there that makes it perfect for your dog to chill while you have your roast dinner or pint overlooking the medieval church and ancient standing stones. The food was very nice accompanied by the spectacular view of a Sunset over the meadows. Ideal pit stop for country hikers as the vibe is welcoming even thou it is clearly a local pub. The entire village is like from Jane Austin' s novel with medieval village hall, Georgian cottages covered eith ivy and lots of flowers. Really amazing experience to be there!
