   I was in last night with my boyfriend for his birthday and it was an absolutely amazing experience! Even though it was a busy night we were seen to quickly and had drinks at the table in no-time! Our waitress Tara was very attentive,and friendly, making sure we were well checked on despite it being evident that they were short-staffed. I only mentioned in conversation that it was my boyfriend's birthday and to both his and my surprise, he was brought out a birthday dessert which made his night. I can't thank Tara and the rest of the team enough for such a fab and memorable occasion. Will definitely be back!!

   We had a great meal here albeit a little pricey. The staff were a bit shell shocked from having a birthday party walk off without paying. However we can only comment on what we found and they were very friendly and up for a laugh. The food was lovely and cooked as we asked. Marked down on the atmosphere only because it was very quiet but it was very early in the evening as we were heading on to watch a show at the Old Vic later. I can imagine later it picks up.

   This was our first time to Bar and Block and it did not disappoint. The food was first class and the 2 for 1 on cocktails was definitely used. Tara the hostess was amazing and looked after us all night. Will definitely be back again.

   We were the first people in with a 12.30 reservation. 2 for 1 cocktails for the wives, what not to like? Had far too much tapas so I was unable to order my preferred dish for mains, which was going to be the steak tasters. I hade the sausage sampler instead and it was really tasty. Lovely food, would love to come back again next time in Bristol.

   The steak selection is very good. I had the Cote de Boeuf, which was dry aged for 30 days. It was excellent. The chips were very crispy. My friends had the dinosaur short rib and the surf and turf. The atmosphere was nice and quiet.

   Amazing experience at Bar+Block Steakhouse Bristol. Gavin was able to offer us a 5 star service; he was extremely helpful, helped us order the right food for us, and was happy to help us have an amazing evening. Food did taste amazing and we strongly recommend to visit.

   The beef popcorn and starter of salt and pepper Squid was very nice but 12oz* Spiral-Cut Ribeye tasted nice but was abit overcooked for my liking. I asked med rare and got more of a med Staff and services was good and the management was also good to didn't catch both there name

   I have eaten here a few times and service has always been excellent, the staff are super attentive and the food comes out pretty quick. The steaks are always cooked how I like, really good! The best desserts are the chocolate melting bombs! Tip-sign up for email updates. I get emailed discounts most months (many times 50% off!!)

   We went to Bar + Block on a busy Friday evening. The service was very good, fast and friendly. The food was hot and the steaks were served at the perfect temperature, the sides were delicious and very reasonably priced. Would definitely come back again.
