Lovely restaurant with nice views. Food was great (we had the steak pie and Sunday roast) and staff were really professional and attentive. Spend around £150 for 4 including 2 rounds of drinks.

Layout and atmosphere 5⭐️ Staff 5⭐️ Food 3⭐️ The vist went wrong at two points. Ordered from the 2 for £40 menu. Yet when bill came its was seen to show one meal and starter was billed from the main menu. After discussion with the member of staff and the member of staff discussing with others bill was amended to reflect the correct charges. The other disappointment was the pork schnitzel. Looked a 10/10 when arrived topped with bacon, a fried egg and black pudding. The actual schnitzel was two layers of pork inside the breadcrumbs and the rind was still on the meat. It needed sawing with the knife to get through it. The meat plainly wasn't tenderised before cooking.Never had a schnitzel like this before. I didn't complain about it. Just decided to take a photo so people can see and avoid it from the menu. Nice views across the clyde from the restaurant.

We had heard good things of Coast and we were not disappointed. We had a window seat and although we had booked first, we were not guaranteed a view out across the Clyde to Dumbarton Castle. The staff were friendly and helpful. We got there before they started lunch menu, so we were able to get a coffee. We of course had the fish and chips, which we had been recommended and thoroughly enjoyed. Coast are part of the chain that owns Duck Bay restaurant. This is a very popular place on Loch Lomond. Unfortunately we had a bad experience there, which left us disappointed with them. Coast has restored our faith.

Last night (after flying in from PDX), we had dinner here on the recommendation from the Find Me Gluten Free website. My sister is gluten free. They had a separate GF. menu, but upon asking our server said that most of the menu items were GF. My sister had the GF fish and chips and I had some too, the batter on the fish was so light and the fish was cooked perfectly. My brother in law had the meat pie and it looked amazing. It was a delightful experience and I’m hoping that we will go again for another meal.

What a fantastic wee place to stop by and have something to eat. We were able to get parked in Coasts car park, but it does fill up really quickly. There is on street parking available too. We hadn't booked a table but were lucky enough to be in early, so tables were available. We were taken to our table, which had a fantastic view out over the water, then ordered our food. All the food (and drinks) that came to the table were excellent, absolutely no complaints about any of it. The prices were very good, considering the quality, I expected to pay more! The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. The toilets were immaculate.

As soon as you arrive you will be taken back by the decor at this time of year with the wonderful Christmas setting. We had lentil soup with crusty bread and butter for starters and it was lovely. Mains we had Thai chicken breast with rice which was nice and not to spicy. We also had chicken fajitas which comes with a nice serving platter tray. For dessert I had the sticky toffee Sunday and this was great. All in all a great dining experience with The Coast and we will be back again soon.

Used to come here years ago when it was Langbank Lodge. Last day in the area and we went for lunch. Loved the new building. Beautifully bright, great views. Parking was always an issue and it still is. I wouldn't want to live in that street with how busy it was and that was on a Monday! Hubby had steak and chips which he loved. Steak was cooked to perfection and was very flavorful. I had the haddock and salmon pie which was the perfect sized portion and really delicious. Cost for both portions with a beer, a glass of wine and a cappuccino was £54. Wish we still stayed in the area for this restaurant. Pics are the view from outside the restaurant.

Beautiful location with a water view. Well kept toilets and easy access throughout the building. Lovely friendly staff and a very varied menu. Extremely comfortable with catering for food allergies. Lovely at sunset and outside surrounding makes beautiful photographs
