Indian Temptation is known for miles around for their Masala Dosa and excellent veggie curries but this time we went for the newly introduced Christmas Thali and very fine it is too - beautiful to look at and great to eat with lots of varied dishes and tastes. Recommended

A gem of an Indian vegetarian restaurant. A friendly welcome, good space with the interesting curved upstairs room on the corner. But best of all the food: the shared starter platter of puris to tickle the tongue. Then baby aubergines in a wonderfully rich tomato sauce and a dish with whole cashews that was rich and creamy. All while discussing the merits of red onions, asofoetida and more with the owner.

Indian Temptation is an absolute gem in Bath and a MUST-VISIT, especially for vegetarians! It is rare to find a fully vegetarian Indian restaurant offering such unique and authentic dishes that I haven't seen anywhere else in the UK. The food was phenomenal: The Jackfruit Kebab and the Soya Chaap were absolutely juicy and delicious; they truly reminded me of the authentic taste I've had back homeβperhaps even better! Even the regular Punjabi Samosa tasted uniquely different and absolutely amazing. Beyond the food, the ambience is lovely, and the mesmerising view of Bath Abbey from the restaurant is the perfect backdrop to your meal. The experience is completed by the owners, who are a wonderful, down-to-earth, and kind couple. The service is top-notchβattentive and genuinely warm. Overall, it's a perfect dining experience. I highly recommend Indian Temptation!

Indian Temptations is an absolute delight for anyone who loves North Indian food. The dishes are full of authentic Indian flavour, with perfectly cooked curries, soft naan, and aromatic spices that taste freshly prepared. The chilli paneer and dal makhani are absolutely delicious, and the staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The cosy atmosphere makes it a great place to relax and enjoy a special meal. One of the best spots in Bath for vegetarian Indian cuisine.

Fantastic food, great to have a full vegetarian menu. Even the non-vegetarians loved it. We all loved the sharing cold platter, it was so unusual. The Thali was a good way of trying different dishes- all delicious. Staff very friendly.too. A great evening - definitely recommend

We had an awesome experience with this restaurant. We had gone out with our family to bath for a weekend and were desperately looking for some authentic Indian food after a crazy walk around the beautiful countryside. At the entrance of the restaurant we had Ganeshji blessing us and that was a soul calming experience. The staff is very polite and ever ready to help. The food was simply delicious. I was impressed with their hygiene and cleanliness as well.

This is at a very prime location, opp Abbey. Ambience is okay, but food definetly needs an uplift. Service is okay but food prep takes a lot of time. Pulao was okay but the curry and roti needs some more work.

Must visit place if you in Bath for trips. They had amazing and gourmet food which i couldn't find in London also. And hats off to their friendly and professional service by ladies present at the restaurant. Worth the time and money spent there.

A great Indian authentic experience. A steep staircase to the restaurant so not easily accessible for everyone. The staff were superb. One lady in particular explained different dishes to us which helped us make a great choice. Food was soo good. Tried some new dishes and was very impressed. Great prices too. Will definitely return on our next visit to Bath
