What a find. If you have problem feet (and a bit of money) this is the store for you. My dropped foot reemerged on the long flight from Australia, hindering my gait and limiting my holiday. Julie spent so much time with me until we found a solution that reduces the pain and the gait issues. Recommend if you have complex issues with your feet.

My first appointment was about 6 months ago. I was diagnosed with planter faciitis by a very knowledgeable sales assistant. She recommended shoes and personalised insoles. I have worn the shoes every day since. Expensive, good quality and very supportive. My foot felt better immediately. The insoles arrived a short time later and were fitted to the shoes at my next appointment. My feet feel incredibly supported and the pain has gone except for the very occasional twinge. I walk 15000 steps a day and feared that those days were over. Not so, thanks to Foot Solns. I walk with comfort and confidence again. Thank you.

The reviews here are polarising, so let me add to them by sharing my positive experience. I'll admit that I suspected I'd be 'encouraged' to spend an extra £200 or so on their own line of shoes, ON TOP of the £300 insoles. But when I returned with my own chosen pair (from Clarks), they were happy to fit them with my insoles at no extra cost. They were very attentive and the examination was thorough, and it shows in the quality of the insoles that I now own. I can wear normal shoes without any kind of searing pain, and I have a pair of insoles that should last me a good few years! I'll absolutely be getting my next insoles from these guys - it's worth the investment. The business clearly runs on an appointment-based system. It says so on their website and on the store front - you need to ring a doorbell to be granted access. So if you book your appointment and show up on time, you'll be well seen to. But if you show up unannounced, then on your head be it!

Worst customer service We found the shop in Glasgow to have very poor customer service. On every visit there was a sense that as a customer you are not valued. The worst was though, a new pair of shoes began to fall apart after just a month. When we returned, the staff were defensive and unhelpful. They suggested a repair and would not provide a replacement nor a refund. After much complaining on my part, they finally consented to a refund, and when I dropped the shoes off, rather than apologise for the inconvenience of a £215 of shoes falling apart after a month, they remained rude and very unpleasant. This is not a company with a good sense of customer service I am further appalled at the retaliatory response by the owner, who rather than listen to a customer with a legitimate review, attacks the customer with falsehoods and shares details of the purchase unnecessarily in a public way. Shame on the shop and the owner for making false statements. I am personally offended and hope this assists others to know how badly they might be treated. If you read other reviews, you can see that never does the owner accept that there are ways to improve customer service. Defensiveness through aggressive responses reveal everything you need to know about Foot Solutions in Glasgow.

In congruence with many other reviews here, I was met with the abrupt and rude manner of a man who actually seemed annoyed that I dare ring the bell to see if I could nip in to buy some slippers. While I fully understand and respect the rationale behind the ‘appointment system’, there is little justification or excuse for the horrible, hostile vibes emanating from this man who states they were too busy for me to get some slippers, although he admitted he wasn’t serving anyone and I could see there was only one other person in the shop being served by the other assistant. I wasn’t offered an appointment or an apology - the attitude of this person was nothing short of stunning. Further to this I find the businesses responses to other reviews describing a similar experience to mine to be short sighted, defensive and concurrent with the attitude that has elicited the reviews in the first place. To attack people who are simply trying to transact business with you seems to be a very strange way to run a company, but each to their own I guess. Good luck for the future.

Saw some shoes in the window display that looked great. Attempted to visit the store at approx 1530 today (sign says shop closes at 1700). Door was locked. Man came and opened up aFter he could see we were trying to get in. It was odd because he blocked the entrance We asked if the store was closed and he brashly responded no it wasn’t. We commented on the door being locked and he says that’s because that they were only taking appointments. It was clear he wasn’t interested so we left. It was a dreadful lack of customer service and no wonder the last few reviews here are bad. My advice, don’t waste your time or money.

I have used foot solutions for a good few years now and certainly have never experienced anything but TOTAL courtesy, help, and excellent advice. Julie, the advisor, goes the extra mile for all her customer as do all the staff. People have to realise that a lot of Foot Solutions clients are vulnerable and the lengths Foot Solutions go to during this unprecedented time are for everyone's safety. I would highly recommend anyone to make an appointment because the service is second to none

I visited this store with the intention of purchasing stretch walker shoes, . On the advice of the sales person ( also the owner) I was persuaded to purchase the size which was a half size bigger than I would usually require. I left the store and agreed I would walk around the house to see how I got on. It soon became evident that the shoes were slipping off my feet when I walked. I contacted the store to advise of the issue and was advised to make an appointment to have the situation reviewed. I work in a front line service and live 46 miles from the store, and made this appointment on my first available free day. According to the sales person the store has a 14 day money back guarantee, anything out with their time scale does not qualify for a refund or exchange. As 14 days had lapsed since the time of purchase, the sales person refused to accept a return, nor would they consider an exchange. I was left feeling very disappointed with the quality of service and moreover the attitude of the sales person, who was rude and mildly aggressive, saying I KNEW about their 14 day policy and there was nothing they could do. So please beware of this sales tactics of this store. In my experience, they are all over you until they get your hard earned money and once they have secured your sale, they are not remotely interested in an after sales service. I was poorly treated by this sales person/ owner and I am now left with a very expensive pair of shoes, ( £189.00) I cannot wear.

Have now been a customer at Foot Solutions in Glasgow twice. On each occasion the service has been exemplary. They take time to understand your issues, carry out thorough and efficient assessments, explain clearly what they are doing and, critically, never exert any pressure on you to buy anything at all. I have relatively painful issues and on each occasion they have resolved them. I can’t recommend them highly enough and a special mention to Julie who is a credit to this company.
