Always a delight having lunch here. Most recently, we visited on a bank holiday Monday and it was busy (as expected). After a 10 minute wait, we got a table and ordered a coronation chicken wrap and the ranch chicken wrap - both served with a side of salad and crisps. Portions are huge and there is plenty of filling inside the wrap. Finished with a viennese whirl biscuit from a nice selection of cakes. Nice atmosphere with lush garden views. It's also dog friendly and service is always great.

Specifically went to the Cafè because we have had lovely food in the past. But having fought our way from car to the door with a wheelchair found the lift out of order and had to struggle back to the car - no nice food for us! The lift has clearly been out of order for some time so disabled people not currently welcome in the cafe.

Lovely setting in grounds of traditional old building with arts and crafts gift shop and workroom. Cafe is waiter/ress service. Homemade scones are in my top three. Outdoor cafe area overlooking garden. Grounds used by local community for events. 4 Outdoor craft stalls and music in the garden in the evening we were there.

Always made to feel very welcome. Cockenzie House has varied businesses within its walls, businesses that cater for many different clients.

We took my dad here for lunch for his birthday since his dog was allowed in and the grounds are lovely. If a menu was available to view in advance, I would have gone elsewhere. It's basically sandwiches or baked potatoes with nice fillings and salad etc but it should be nice for £10 each. It's a small lunch menu and lots of the more substantial things weren't available - both pies, the salmon and the kid's burger. They should really have put on a 'special' additional dish to compensate for this. We probably won't go back.

Had an excellent cheese scone & a great cup of coffee at Cockenzie House. Great place with a buzz & lots going on food-wise & artistically. Beautiful setting. Staff helpful & friendly.

Place was lovely was there for a wedding evening reception. Parking was not great, lighting from gate to venue was poor also not disabled friendly. Also getting from one venue to marquee had to walk up a grass slope then back again to reception. Partner has to use wheelchair now and again but luckily he was using crutches or this would have been impossible for him to attend.
