“I’ve had a few piercings done at studio 13 over the past couple of years and Sarah in particular has always been super friendly and welcoming! She was great at explaining the process as well as helping to easing the nerves of getting a piercing. Despite the fact that during my most recent visit, piercing appointments were fully booked for the day I never once felt rushed and felt completely comfortable and reassured the entire process. The studio itself is clean, sterile and well presented and the jewellery they sell has never given me any issues. I simply couldn’t recommend enough!”

After two visits we decided on a blue shark that will be delivered to our home address for a very fair price. Very worthy of a visit. “You must stay at this hotel! Not only is the location absolutely perfect, the room is so smartly designed and the beds were so comfortable. The decor was absolutely fantastic as well. Despite its location, the hotel was very quiet. The staff were super wonderful and helpful, and gave us great recommendations for food and drink along with some fun history about Edinburgh (a special shout-out to Martin). Would stay here again 10/10”

“Ive stayed at these apartment quite a few times now . The first time i stayed i had a little trouble with a broken balcony door and problems with the hot water. The apartment was great , spacious, clean,modern and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff apologized for the trouble i had my first stay and gave us a free nights stay on our next booking. I have been back to these apartments a few times since and haven't had any problems at all . The staff are friendly and helpful . There is restaurants and bars close by . An asda within 10 mins walk. The price is very reasonable and you get a discount if you book direct. I intend to stay at the apartments again for our next little city break overall great apartment and great staff .”

At the day of check out, they were very kind enough to store our luggages with them as we headed to sight seeing and we had evening train. “Our kids (boy 11 and girl 14 years) were impressed how the imaginative and creative SJM teachers managed to involve kids, how fast the kids progressed. They easily made friends and enjoyed the breaks in between. We as parents adored the final show - well done and very entertaining. Communication has always been excellent, thanks a lot, Stephen. We highly recommend this SJM activity for a summer program.”

“Rooms are nice, exquisite and very comfortable. I would say this is affordable luxury. All of the staff are very pleasant and polite. They always want to help, no matter what. Not forgetting that breakfast is free and really nice. You can move around the ship for some sight seeing and we also got two free tickets to see the Britannia Yatch (Tickets can be transferred or used at anytime). The location is quiet. It was indeed a floating experience”

“Words can’t describe how wonderful this artsy boutique style hotel is! Just returned home after spending five fabulous nights at this beautiful gem of a hotel. Nothing has been overlooked, from the decor, design, furnishings, artwork - and on top if it all, a lovely whisky tasting bar/lounge that was truly elegant. The staff was extremely attentive and made sure that everything was perfect for us from the moment we arrived until our departure (inclusive of booking taxis and making hotel reservations). Will definitely be booking another stay at 24 Royal Terrace if given the opportunity to visit Edinburgh again.”

“Really great service from Alice and Kevin. Our train up from London had been delayed massively due to issues which meant we arrived very late at night. They arranged to pick us up from the station. Really friendly and a good place to stay. Room was comfortable and breakfast delivered to the door.”

“The Balmoral was an incredible hotel to stay at. The service was like no other. I unfortunately fell ill my second day into our trip and the hotel offers a service where a physician comes to the hotel to be checked out. This alone made me feel like I was being taken care of and I was appreciated as a guest. The staff was always so kind and cheerful. I am hoping to make my way back to Scotland so I can see more of this beautiful place!”
