Lovely place to visit. Exhibitions are always fun, interesting & inclusive. The viewing gallery is a must especially for those of us that remember the old baths & swimming pool

Really cool spot in a beautiful old bathhouse! Loved seeing the weaving studio from the viewing gallery and the mix of old and new textile art. Only reason for 4 stars is that I wished there was more info about certain pieces. Still, super inspiring if you like art, craft, or just want a unique Edinburgh experience.

Dovecot Studios must be one of the nicest galleries in Edinburgh! To visit during the VICTORIA CROWE - Shifting Surfaces exhibition is an added bonus. We have been visiting Dovecot for years and always love the exhibitions, the amazing space, the light, the galleries, the cafe and the staff, thank you.

The place is very well-curated, featuring interesting exhibitions and nicely-stocked shop. I also recommend escaping the hubbub of the streets to watch artists hard at work from the gallery. Don't be fooled by on-street parking spaces - these are prohibitively expensive, it's better to use public transport or leave car elsewhere and walk.

Beautiful light and airy space with striking and bold art works on display. The cafe is also a relaxing and light well-designed space with helpful and friendly service.

This place doesn't not stop inspiring me everytime i go. There are always new exhibitions, faires, great function venue, it is great to v the the tapestry makers "in the zone" performing their art too. The shop had always the most beautiful things, I would want to buy b then all! And the cafe is delicious in a cool setting. A bit pricey but totally worth it.

First visit here last week to see the current exhibitions. Lovely gallery with such helpful staff. Exhibits were beautifully curated and the art space viewing gallery is an added attraction. Being able to watch artists at work and see their pieces coming to life is such a great experience. There is a lovely shop and cafe also in the space. Enjoyed my first visit so much went back again within 3 days of first visit. On my list of places to visit again....

Lovely exhibition of William Morris wallpaper and textile display. Also able to look down on to the weaving room and see craftspeople at work. Tea room was closed when we visited but is reopening soon. Nice gift shop. We were able to park very close too.
