Whoa! This place was amazing! I loved all the unique pancake options from sweet to savory -- was so hard to choose which ones to get! The pancakes came out really quickly and were as delicious as they looked and the latte was perfect! Would definitely go back if I find myself back in Edinburgh!!

The toppings for the pancakes were good. The problem was getting them gluten free. It's super hard to find gluten free anything in Scotland, and they do have it here. I can appreciate that, but the GF pancakes just aren't very good. Too dense and a weird taste. The front door doesn't close if people don't shut it and it lets in so much cold air. I kept having to get up to close it myself at least a dozen times because no one else was watching it. Really unpleasant.

Went here a few weeks ago as we missed dinner and fancied a treat. We were excited as we heard really good things about this place. We got a triple stack each and some sides. The pancake size was good but the pancakes themselves were pretty dry and not very sweet. There was a cream cheese topping on mine which I really disliked and overall the food looked good but was just pretty disappointing. The staff were friendly enough but especially for the price, I doubt we’ll be returning.

Their pancakes are super good and amazing, they almost have every option and choice someone would think of. The staff are really kind and amazing and available. Their chicken are halal from Poland according to them alongside their kebab. Their cappuccino is amazing and their pancakes portion is very sufficient. Their sauces are bit little otherwise everything is perfect.

We decided to share a savoury double pancake stack and a dessert one to get have the best of both worlds! We were not disappointed! We started with the breakfast pancake which had bacon, sausage, egg, black pudding and beans. And served with two fluffy light pancakes. Yum! Then we had the banana stack which had two butter milk pancakes with banana, chocolate chip, mascarpone, salted caramel sauce, and chocolate sauce. Delicious. To drink we had a luxury chocolate and a flat white and both were very hot which is just the way I like it. Shawn was super friendly and helpful and a great Ambassador for Stack & Still. Highly recommended!

Excellent, staff are superb, really friendly and helpful! Food is on point, I had a big stack (breakfast) and it was fab. Lots of options, there’s something for everyone! If you’re in town this is a must stop! Great atmosphere open kitchen and of course it’s absolutely spotless! I’ll definitely be returning!

Nice place and very decent food. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was tasty, even if I was slightly surprised the pancakes for savoury orders were sweet. I had the smoked salmon and avocado single, low-fat stack and it proved to be more than enough to satiate. My other half had to ask about allergens and the manager was very accommodating and willing to help. We were both happy with our food. The space is large and quirky, but to me it felt a bit odd that they, despite having windows to the outside, have opted to block them with the kitchen instead of allowing customers a view. I get it that it might have been an architectural necessity, but I'm very keen on a view. Another minor thing was their toilets, which were mostly out of order, and the one that was indeed working had no lock.

What an amazing place with a great interior and amazing staff. The food was delicious and fresh. There were so many options to choose from. The menu was really unique. I have never seen pancakes with so many different combinations. There were so many halal, vegan and healthy options too. We didn’t wait long before the order the arrived. Update: I went back again and got to say I wasn’t disappointed. It was really quiet but the waiter was really cool and friendly. If you are Edinburgh, must try place. It’s not expensive either.

I've been recommending this place to literally everyone I know since visiting; it was so lovely! Slightly hidden away so it wasn't as busy as I'd expect, but the atmosphere was great, and the place itself is really lovely inside. The food was absolutely delicious with a very varied menu, considering the main fair is pancakes. The menu was really clear and had so much choice for toppings and themed stacks. The pancake was totally delicious, and I'm glad I took my friends recommendation and only ordered 1 because with the added toppings, it was actually pretty filling! I would also recommend the rosemary salt fries; they were so delicious we ended up ordering 3 extra portions (they're quite little)! I really enjoyed this place and will definitely be going back! The food, the service, and the restaurant itself were all fab! I'd definitely give it a go if you are looking for something new to try!
