   Visited Red Kite Café this morning for breakfast with a friend and had such a lovely experience. I ordered the Red Kite Breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. I asked for no mushrooms and the waitress kindly offered extra bacon instead — a really thoughtful touch, especially since most places simply remove the item without replacing it. The staff were very attentive and the café itself was clean, tidy and had a great ambiance. I’d definitely recommend it and would happily return!

   I've been on a quest over the last years to find the best breakfast in Edinburgh. This is definitely a contender. I am a fussy eater and didn't want eggs or mushrooms, so you can see my breakfast was fairly simple. But all the ingredients were great. Fresh bread, high quality haggis with the sausages and bacon cooked to perfection. The big revelation for me here is how fantastically well garlic butter goes with breakfast food. Would never have thought of it myself. Wish more places done that. Overall the atmosphere was good, service was great, very friendly. The breakfast is maybe a bit pricey for the amount of food on my plate, but this is Edinburgh, so didn't really cost more than anywhere else locally. Would have been nice to have some potato scone / hash brown, some beans are always a welcome addition. But overall, highly recommend.

   Monday just past noon, had a nice breakfast selection, delicious, coffee was great , as good as it looks in the pic. Food options were plentiful for vegan as well. Very full afterwards, definitely a return visit the next time I am in Edinburgh.

   Whenever we are in Edinburgh and needing a breakfast we go to Red Kite. I love their coffee (Americano) and Harrisa Egg. They are so good. The staff are very helpful polite and the place is cozy.

   Absolutely brilliant cafe on our doorstep of our stay in Edinburgh! We visited this cafe on a Sunday and it was buzzing with customers. Despite its busyness, we were seated within seconds. My friend and I had opted for the veggie full breakfast and it was absolutely brilliant. The latte was amazing too, definitely needed for our jam packed day ahead. It was pleasing to see that this cafe had supported local businesses. I went back to buy a sandwich the next day which I felt tasted abit dry and didn’t have much in it.    Pros: Very kind staff and very good food. The porridge and the chocolate cake we ordered were the best of the best. Cappuccino was also really nice. The ambience is also nice. Even at full capacity the coffee shop was relatively okay to sit in noise wise. Cons: we were charged 50p extra for preferring soy milk over cow milk, come on people, it's 2022. The toilets were quite dirty and given we were seated quite close to the toilets it wasn't a pleasent experience. All in all a good place to grab a quick bite to eat or enjoy a cuppa.

   Very tasty breakfast, friendly environment and prepared staff. Also the coffee is good which is a bit of a rare gem. The display was full of tasty quiches and cakes. Highly recommended for brunches and coffee with group friends or on your own.
