   I visited Verona restaurant on Tuesday 21 February 2023 in the early evening, a weekday during term time. I was with one other person. This was my first visit. I used Google Maps to find the restaurant, which was easy and led me straight to the right place. I didn't book a table in advance, we just turned up. The restaurant comprises of one medium sized main dining area with a number of tables with full table service. The restaurant was bright and clean. The team were incredibly friendly and welcoming and I had no issues - we got everything we expected in good time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I enjoyed a Tropicala pizza for my main course and the most delicious Tiramisu for dessert. The pizza arrived hot, was well presented and tasted really good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily. The food was good value for money, I paid £30 for two courses and two drinks. Overall I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come and visit again. The only reason I've given three stars for atmosphere was it was a bit chilly in the restaurant but the food and service were excellent.

   Sad to say not a great experience last night. No heating the ladies of our party kept their coats on throughout the meal. Waitress clearly not trained mishandled glasses, and cutlery, propping herself up against the bar. Takeaway person walking through the restaurant during our meal, didnt look good at all, Didn't feel welcoming and no interaction with staff. Staff not attentive to us Food was ok, bar one main where the chicken didn't taste good at all. (we should have sent it back). Party of 11 turned up during our meal and were having a great time, which we have no issue with but prevented us from chatting with our elderly parents.. Not intending to return

   This is a little gem of a restaurant! Fantastic food and wonderful service. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed 3 courses. Couldn't fault a single dish. We will definitely return.

   If i could give more stars i certainly would. Firstly the hospitality was fantastic, up there with Michelin rated restaurants. Today was our first time here and we will most definitely return. The menu offers very traditional Italian cuisine, cooked in traditional authentic Italian style, not like the chain restaurants who claim to be of Italian origin. The service received was fantastic and very polite, during the process of ordering and delivery. The presentation of the food was superb, portion size was perfect. Everything was cooked to perfection and the taste was out of this world. We accompanied our meal with a bottle of Chardonnay, which was of a great standard. The dessert portions are very generous, again the taste is of a standard that deserves a Michelin star. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon, the fantastic service and above all for a meal that deserves to be up there with some of the greats. You truly deserve a Michelin star.

   Lovely independent restaurant. Unfussy inside with friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Went with 5 friends and lovely to have round table. 5 diff meals and all delicious - linguine, 2x risotto, chicken, pork. 4 cheesecakes and 1 tiramisu to follow - all so light and fluffy. Seriously good food with great service. Can’t believe I haven’t been before. We will definitely be back.

   Second attempt eating here. It was booked the first night we tried. The server tried to get us in but she checked the time and could not let us. We came back tonight after booking on the phone and she immediately recognized us. The Risotto was perfect and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the lasagna. Highly recommend this restaurant if authentic is what you're after!!
