The beer was cold, it was a pub, and the fries were crunchy. The lady at the bar was lovely. But it may have been the worst burger I’ve ever had. It was 12 pound (24AUD!!), and if I hadn’t asked for onion rings (which I expected to be separate, I paid a pound 50p extra for it), it would’ve been a burger patty and cheese between two very plain burger buns. No sauce. No lettuce. Nothing. Coming here on a Sunday, I wanted a nice hearty meal, but got a mid heated burger roll with a patty and cheese between it, and three tiny onion rings.

Great pub. Came for their famous nachos (of course) which were delicious. Slightly pricy but you get what you pay for in volume! Quiet on a Sunday evening. Great follow on from a walk up Arthur’s Seat.

Nice pub keg beers are a bit eh, but always nice cask on (usually 2-3). Nachos are nice and big but they've gone up a lot in price and reduced the size. Burgers looked amazing, hot dogs were good.

Great place with many different beers, ciders and drink options. Prices for ciders are fair. Food prices are a bit high compared to what you really get. The small plate of nachos is huge, and can be shared between 2-3 people. It tastes good. It's medium strong, and this is the only option, as everything is pre made. It's definitely recommended to visit.

They say they have Legendary Nachos and they weren't wrong! They may be a little pricey at £18, but that's the price of two main meals and was definitely more than filling! A good selection of craft beers on tap, as well as more in cans and dog friendly too!

Great spot! The vegetarian nachos were awesome. We got the small ones, which were a hearty snack for 4, but they were so good we wished we had gotten the large. Also thoroughly enjoyed the onion rings — they were executed perfectly in that you could bite into them without pulling out the entire onion. Would def go back next time I’m in the area.

You will find the best nachos here!!!! (And if you post pictures of them on Instagram ppl will go crazy about them) Very cool staff who does a great job with a lot of passion. I'm very happy about this unique nacho experience I had here :)

Everything was served in huge portions and a full tummy is guaranteed after a meal here. A variety of toppings available for nachos, good bites with no surprises, anyway people would be satisfied by the sheer size. And the real star should be the beer. Great selection, the ale and cider we had were nice.
