   This used to be a good DIY store, with a range of tools and consumables that usually met my needs. The garden side was small but again, had a good range of plants and landscaping. It is now half full of tacky furnishings and household cleaning products, so has really gone down hill. Worst of all they now allow dogs in!!!!! Baffles me why dog owners think their dogs would enjoy a trip to DIY store, but it seems many dog owners are not capable of functioning without a dog. As I have been threatened and harassed by dogs, and abused by their owners when I have objected, I normally avoid 'dog friendly' places so will not be returning to Homebase. Will just buy on the internet instead.

   Didn’t have anything I was looking for. It was more of a budget low market B&Q. I won’t be in any hurry to be going back. I looked in there website before I went out to the store 20 miles round trip. What I was looking for was in stock. Got there just to be told. You can only order online. So why does the website say it’s in stock ??

   Homebase is a great one stop shop for all things diy and garden. I stopped there twice to stock my balcony with plants and firewood, as shown. Friendly and helpful staff.

   I ordered for click and collect and received my order quickly. I also purchased a light shade and was served promptly. Disappointed that there is no public toilet facilities in store any longer. There are public toilets nearby in home bargains and aldi.

   1-Unhelpful staff. 2-Their prices are more than B&Q, I couldn't believe my self, actually what I was looking for they didn't have it in white, so I decided to go to B&Q, even though B&Q is a bit far from Homebase, B&Q had it in white, and there I found out the difference in price.

   First time in. I was told there was some very good price cut deals on outdoor plants. Yip ,spot on. £1 a pop per plant. Very happy. But....the young fella at the checkout was the best part. Excellent service. Extremely pleasant. Thankyou and will recommend.

   I bought paint from Homebase. The brand name is Crown Cloudburst colour. It was an amazing colour and my wall looks wonderful now. Everyone who is willing to go into the Grey colour scheme should try this paint and use it on their walls.
