Very efficient dentist, nice receptionists, polite and helpful. Very reasonable prices, helpful dentists. Can't understand other reviews. Clean, calm environment, would recommend.
Cancelled my appointment and didnt make any effort to contact me back to arrange other appointment theyre useless
Really like the service from this local dentist - my mum is in SW Scotland, they have NO NHS dentists at all! Dentists are friendly, helpful, and I think give good advice when you need to make a decision. Reception are efficient, organised, and have occasionally taken pity on me when I’ve needed a favour. Spare appointments, emergency appointments I know are in such short supply, but reception can sometimes magic them out of a hat if I can be a bit flexible or get in early or at short notice. Reception were especially lovely to me last week when I had a problem with a broken filling - I’m particularly grateful for that (tou know who you are!)
Mr Tandon has been doing my dentistry since I was 3 (now 28). He has a calming presence and is very experienced at what he does. I briefly moved dentist in 2020 due to moving home, however moved back to Craigmillar dentist as no others compared to Mr Tandon. Definitely recommend
Previous reviews are correct - an absolutely horrible experience. I can’t comment on the dentists, but the receptionist was the most rude person I’ve dealt with in years. Admittedly I got stuck in traffic in craigmillar (it took me 40 minutes to get there) which I appreciate is my fault. However when I was 9 minutes late for my appointment , the receptionist was exceptionally rude. The first word she said was ‘your late she’s no gonna see you she’s got lunch in 10 minutes’ and took so much joy out of cancelling my appointment. I apologise and asked if I could wait til after lunch, or later on (because it took me 40 minutes to get here) and if there was any flexibility and she wouldn’t even have a conversation with me. I fully appreciate it’s my fault, and if they couldn’t see me that’s ok, but to speak to an adult in such a condescending disrespectful way is a disgrace, I couldn’t physically believe her tone. I hoped previous reviews were not accurate, however they clearly are and shows the disdain this receptionist has for patients. Avoid this place if you can.
My husband and I have been with this practice for years. We have had an excellent service from them. Very obliging and pleasant receptionists. Highly recommended
On of my tooth filling was changed with no reason to some "metal filling" and very bad job done. Now it is scooped out, sensitive and not sure if it will last a year. Been told by another dentist that after this "job" not sure if it will be possible to do anything.
Cancelled my appointment multiple times at short notice. Next available appointment was +6 weeks in advance - no regard for my health or time. Had me eventually booked for a filling but got appointments mixed up and gave me a polish instead. Been walking with pain since May month. shocking!!!!! I guess they dont need the money and just to add in i am a private patient!
Worst practice ever and the receiptionest is very disrespectful. When I told her that I need an emergency appointment she said if I am a private patient, I said no I am NHS patient, she said will we do not have availability you need to contact the emergency number. Basically, she was telling me that NHS patients not important at all in this practice and the only way to get a dentist to see me is to pay for their private plans like NHS does not pay them for the service they provide.
Worst Practice ever, I am NHS patient and they keep cancelling my appointment all the time to give it to Private Patient. The receptionist suggestion if you need the dentist so badly, then you need to sign up for our private plans, like NHS does not pay them for treating NHS patient or call the emergency dental hospital.
