Lovely walk through Kelvingrove for coffee here. Once inside very warm relaxed vibes. We got to sit on a super comfy couch. Great coffee and cakes. Just a really special place to sit and chat with beautiful background music. We'll be back

Was in Glasgow town literally for a few hours, needed lunch and sit down and happened to find this place - the Google reviews were good so went ahead. Atmosphere It was different, but in a nice way and the mix of people was what made it even more so interesting - a nice vibe, although some of the music that was playing was questionable (a bit too weird for wanting a better word). Service Brilliant, quick and polite. Everyone was friendly. Food Here's the bit that that it fell down on for me - I asked for Lamb 'Shawarma', instead I got Lamb Kebab, as in strips of lamb donner, like you would go in a kebab shop, and that's not what I ordered or was willing to pay for. I didn't want to cause a problem and I was short on time so just ate it. But there is a 'distinct difference' between what lamb 'shawarma' is and way lamb 'donner' is - this isn't the first place that I've come across who have done this and it's rather frustrating (putting it politely). On the plus side, the Naan bread was beautifully cooked and their take on a Peshwari naan was interesting - coconut and honey, garnished with whole nuts on top; that alone was 6.5/10. The chana masala was a lovely side dish, it was wholesome and flavourful but not in an overpowering way; 7.5/10. I was hoping for a more interesting drinks menu given the setting and ambience of the cafe - next time I shall allow myself a little more time to explore the menu in full. The presentation was brilliant. Worth a visit if you're in Glasgow.

Went on a Saturday lunchtime - very busy but got seated quickly. My food came out really fast after ordering - which you do through an app, would have been great to be able to speak to a member of staff about the various dishes however. The food was absolutely incredible, I got a tarka dal and some hummus with naan and it was all SO nice. The dal was amazingly spiced and the rice was great too! The cinnamon and pistachio coffee was also so good, almost like a dessert in a cup

A hidden gem in Glasgow! Ottoman Coffeehouse on Berkeley Street is absolutely charming β cozy, welcoming, and filled with character. The staff are genuinely kind and make you feel right at home. Their desserts are incredible β especially the gluten-free chocolate hazelnut torte, the creamy Basque cheesecake, and the perfectly flaky pistachio croissant. Pair any of them with a dark hot chocolate or a decaf pistachio latte and youβve got the perfect ending to a long, stressful day. A truly special spot thatβs quickly become one of my favorites in the city.

Discovered this place by accident. The doorway is small and you need to step right in to a fantastic atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful and the decor is fantastic. We visited once and then went back later in the afternoon as it was so cool. We had the Ibrik coffee which is a small cup unfiltered strong coffee. Both times the place was very busy. The food being served all around us looked great and we will try next time. Said to my son and he said he goes all the time with his pals! Cannot recommend enough. We have found our new fave coffeehouse!

I came here with a friend for some lunch before an appointment. The decor is fabulous, service was absolutely fantastic, a real pleasure to speak with the staff. The food was delicious, as recommended by the waiter. Facilities were great. I am looking forward to bringing more friends and family to discover this diamond in the city.

We were in Glasgow for a few days and wanted somewhere to eat. Someone had recommended the Ottoman Coffeehouse on Twitter and so we decided to check it out. It was also halal which made it an easy choice. After a long day walking around the Botanic garden we were hungry and weary by the time we arrived at the Coffee house and it did not disappoint. Everything from the ordering / paying through your phone, to the food itself and the lovely, chatty staff themselves. The place also has interesting decor and chess boards if you want to have a game over some coffee! If I ever go back to Glasgow, I'll love to go there again.

Literally the best people ever. Going as a coffee lover and wanting to try their amazing food. I was not disappointed. I've been back many times and I can happily say I've became friends with everyone there. Always caring and wanting updates on how things are. This place is more than just coffee and food. It's a community

They have a really easy way of ordering food by scanning a barcode and ordering through an app. Unfortunately the app kept declining our payment so we had to pay at the counter. Everything I ordered was great except the chickpeas. It was probably cooked in too much oil/butter and I could literally taste the butter at some point. Their service was excellent. no complaints ! Highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Scotland.

I've been here at least 5 times. The place is so cozy, clean, elegant and full of impressive decor and architecture is so nice. The food is so nice! I tried the mixed grill and biryani and both are so delicious! Prices are also good for such high quality. It's also naturally lit and has lots of chessboards, domino and other games.
