Lovely, proper homemade lunch. Fairly enjoyed my soup and toastie. Good portion size too. Lovely, cozy cafe and good customer service.

What a fantastic find in Stirling! Recommended by the staff at Stirling Old Town Jail. The toasties were delicious and a crackin' cuppa in beautiful, historic surroundings. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Lovely little cafΓ© β we got a seat straight away, and there was a great choice of food. Our meal was delicious and reasonably priced. The cafΓ© has such an interesting history β it was once owned by Darnley, Mary Queen of Scotsβ husband, and has even been a brothel and a tourist shop at one point! Itβs full of character and perfectly located near both the castle and the monument. Staff were lovely and helpful too!

Lovely, lovely lunch. If you are thinking of a healthy, homemade lunch which won't kill your wallet that's the place to be. However the place gets busy so you may not get a table straight away. The menu is made of baked potatoes, toasties and soups. We decided to go for a soup and salad and it was yummy. Very good and quick service. I would recommend it.

This was a great place for brunch in walking distance from Stirling Castle. The scones were delicious and my friends loved the soup of the day. I also enjoyed the history and look of the place.

Lovely place with very welcoming staff. The place has a lot of character and heart. Great selection of coffees. The baked potato with homemade baked beans was the best I ever had. I highly recommend stepping in there whenever you're in the area. I will certainly come again.

Nice platters and toastiest. Lovely atmospheric building. But please add a couple of more Scottish dishes, especially something relevant to the Lord Darnley connection. Maybe a Scottish beef dish or something

Hearty soup! Great ambience! Go there for sure! I had their tomato and basil soup with nut bread. I loved it. It was the perfect food I needed in the drizzling weather. Iβd suggest you visit it for sure, have a nice coffee or soup or whatever you like!
