We were blown away by both the quality of food and level of service at this tapas bar. Absolutely fantastic on both counts! We were staying in Coleford for two nights, found this gem of a restaurant on the first night, and just had to return on the second night - something we never normally do! The tapas was the best we’ve tasted outside San Sebastián, really fresh and flavoursome. The welcome and service was second to none - didn’t catch the boy’s name, but it was his first week, and he was just excellent. Will definitely return when we’re next in the area. Thanks for two lovely evenings.

Very disappointing. We had booked a table for a Friday night and got squashed on a cramped table opposite the kitchen. They were clearly understaffed which we took notice of however as one of the only tables there for food we expected much better service. After writing down our own order we then had a 90 minute wait for the very bland freezer food. We also had a 45 minute wait for our drinks. The tapas were awful. The bruschetta was just chopped tomato’s and the patatas bravas were plain frozen wedges. The calamari was only 2 rings from the freezer and for the hummus we saw them scoop it out of a supermarket packet. The server also pushed a scalding hot dish onto a member of our groups hand leaving them with a burn. Overall we could not have been more disappointed with what was served and how it was served. After paying for our meal I went to politely and quietly speak to the boss Angelo about our disappointing experience as we had kept quiet during the evening but he was rude and obnoxious. He blamed the supermarket food on a “late delivery” and the experience on “unreliable employees” which is not acceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially due to how Angelo handled the conversation as we left. Do not waste your time and money here.

The food doesn't have much taste, we ordered bravo potatoes and they brought us wedge from the freezer, brusheta is 2 small toast and salad separately. They took money for bread separately, calamari it is 2 rings. They had a happy hour, but we didn't get the 3rd drink. I don't recommend it at all

Had a great tapas meal at Ritmo. Plenty of choices, we had 7 dishes for just over £30. Good size portions and as described on the menu. Sauces very tasty, we also had a jug of sangria which was ideal with the meal. Staff were friendly and helpful with their advice. Definitely try if you're in the Forest of Dean.

Have spoken with staff a few times to make sure the could cater for our accessibility needs for my mum. Upon arrival table was laid out perfectly for her. Service was awesome and food was exceptional. What can often be a stressful experience with a disabled guest was made a really lovely enjoyable family evening! Huge thanks to staff for their hospitality and care. If ever we are in the area again, we will be back for sure

The best Tapas in the forest of dean. Great cocktails and a wicked atmosphere. Normally a good band on too. Love the place.

My mother and I popped by during I stay in Coleford and it was so good we came back the next night! The food was amazing, all handmade with speedy service at such a good price! There are over 30 tapas options and each one is delicious! We also had the ritm house cocktail which is a must have tasty one! All staff were lovely, the young lad serving us checked on us throughout our meal and they were friendly! The chef made sure our food was good and cooked it all freshly where we could see it in an open kitchen. The atmosphere reminds me of holidaying in Spain, Spanish music and well decorated too! If you are in Coleford this is a must eat place with amazing service and great atmosphere! Side note: highly recommended the filo pastry tapas dishes as well as the garlic cheese mushrooms and nachos!

Had a nice holiday in the area and went there both nights we stayed there. Atmosphere is really welcoming, people are friendly and the food is delicious without high prices! On top of that they have salsa lessons for the community on wednesdays. Really recommend to visit.
