Although it was near empty, it took about 30 minutes for our food to get served. We asked for waters to go with our drinks but they never arrived. The burger was tasty but overcooked. The nachos were....something. Barely any cheese and a soggy mess on the bottom. Mostly salsa and chili. The guacamole was tasteless. Avoid. The flat white and Americano were good, and our server was friendly.

Absolutely amazing food, we were given afternoon tea voucher for Xmas and decided to use it during our trip to Scotland, my partner booked revolution and were both glad, food was amazing, staff were super friendly and quick service, we also made good use of the cocktail offer and weren't disappointed 100% recommended.

Stopped in here for a drink while shopping in Edinburgh! Very nice & clean inside! Welcoming friendly staff! Bar has a great selection of drinks & lots of cocktails to choose from!

Sun-Wed is happy hour = half price cocktails, and lots of cocktail choices. We loved the cocktails and ended up trying a few different ones we wouldn't normal order. However, there wasn't much food choice, as a lot of their menu was out of stock. But we only learned this while on their app when it wouldn't let us add things to the basket. Overall 4⭐

The food wasn’t great. My burger and chips was on a small plate with the smallest side salad I’ve ever seen. Nice cocktails.

What a fantastic experience! I was here with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday, and it was absolutely brilliant. Finn was amazing, great banter and a great teacher; he really added to the fun of it all. The food was nice, but the drinks were better! I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

EXCELLENT wait staff, wonderful food, great atmosphere. We had a taste of three new cocktails - all were so well done! The Revs Chicken Burger, Mother Clucker Burger and bacon cheeseburger were all SO delicious! We would HIGHLY recommend this cute place!

This place is worthy of four stars because of its great location, tasteful decor and cheap food. But their service is bad and so I'm only giving it one. I had tried Revolution in England (Reading) and it was good, but I went in the evening when the place was packed with drinkers and me (solo, teetotaller, eating only) got ignored. But I didn't mind as I had a book to read and the food was good. In Edinburgh I went at lunchtime hoping the service would be better as it would be less crowded. It was less crowded and the place looks great so things were looking good. Problem was the staff (who all seem nice and friendly) were so engrossed in each other that it was quite hard to catch their attention. Also, their music selection is pretty bad for lunchtime -- they play dance music to just two little groups. Why not something more mellow at lunchtime? But the food came and all was well.
