    Initially, my experience was good, the rooms were clean, the landlady seemed friendly and we shared pleasant small talk. However, the second night, the show I was seeing at the Edinburgh fringe was running a little late and I was coming 15 minutes after the time she says she locks the front doors. I didn't want to wake her, so I figured I would just have my nephew open the door for me, who was waiting in the room for me. When I came, the landlady was up waiting for me. She angrily stopped my nephew and told him she wouldn't let me in. Then, she started shouting at me as if I was a naughty child (I'm a thirty year old man). I tried apologizing but nothing would placate her. Shocked and mortified, I considered leaving the place and sleeping in the car, but instead we stayed the night and left before breakfast the next day. If you think this is normal treatment, then by all means, stay here - I certainly won't.
