Stayed Saturday 6th with my daughter. Room was VERY basic though functional. Very expensive for what we got. We could have booked somewhere much nicer for the same price. Would never stay again Not impressed with Travelodge in general. No soap in shower dispenser but didn't realise until in the shower so nothing we could do.
Truly great Staff at Livingston Travelodge. Facilities were a bit limited compared to other Travelodge's I've stayed in. One vending machine in foyer. No hot drinks available for guests other than in own rooms. Breakfast boxes were OK. Choice of hot drinks in roomn was good. It was great to have a bath with plenty of hot water available. Shower was a little lacking in pressure. All told I'd stay again if in the Livingston area.
Booking online is cheaper. Big bed and mattress, had extra mattress, could accomodate 4. Wifi only free 30 min per day so either you buy a day long package for about gbp3 or just jave a prepaid sim. Parking available you just have to validate at reception
Unfortunately I HAVE to give the room at least 1 star, it's lucky. We were in the top floor, coming out the elevator you navigate around the tray catching the drips from the leak that's hidden somewhere in the damp ceiling and walls. The walls are mouldy and breaking away. We then made our way to our room, past the sealed up door, with a sign telling people not to enter. Goodness only knows, when I say sealed, I mean the bottom of the door is taped sealed shut in this once room. Finally in our room along the dirtiest floors I've seen in a hotel. Inside the room the window was open, which I presumed was to air the room. No it's due to it being broken and the closing mechanism buckled and wouldn't close. So the window was left open all night. Not to worry, we'll just head straight to bed for our early flight in the morning and watch some TV. No chance the TV is clearly ornamental, as there is no Ariel attached , so no TV either. Without a doubt the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Complaints will be made.
Functional yet expensive at £179/night for a Thursday. Beds good, shower fine, TV tiny, no soap in dispenser by sink, USB port on one side of bed broken. Lady at reception very nice. Think £80 would have been ample.
Easy to get to. Friendly staff. Good location with shops and food places nearby. Clean rooms
We stayed at the Travelodge for a few nights. The staff (especially Kay and Moira) were absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were clean and comfy. We would definitely stay here again.
Great staff, sign up to say away from desk but staff came within minutes. Fire alarm went off during our stay, staff remained professional and we returned to room quickly. Great location, parking no issue as we arrived early around 11am to shop.
Greatly overpriced for what it offers. WiFi costs extra, you constantly need to re-login and has a quite opinionated firewall, i.e. lots of stuff is blocked. Rooms were extremely cold and heating would auto turn itself off every 30 minutes. If the price was half of what it is, the place would be an OK 2-star hotel though.
Room was large, bath and shower, Internet was good (30mins free, pay for more), carpark chaotic as Toni Macaroni onsite too and it ain't big enough for both, staff member was away from desk on arrival with sign saying back in a minute, 30mins later they appeared. Busy location but very quiet noisewise. Would stay again....ideal for shopping all day at designer outlet and huge shopping centre then chillin before you return home
