   Just stayed on this site for five days before Christmas. The Almond lodge is one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. Exceptionally clean, fabulous bathrooms and kitchen and there was even a Christmas tree up for our arrival! The site is located close to Kirknewton station, so easy access for trains to both Edinburgh and Glasgow. There is a small shop on site, and we especially enjoyed seeing the chickens running around! Next time we are visiting Edinburgh we will be staying here again, it was fab!

   Hats off to the cleaner!! The whole site was spotless, the lady who checked me in was very polite. The pitch was very level, well drained and mud free. The toilets and showers were immaculate! Would definitely stay again

   The Owner was friendly and the Lady who was looking after the caravan park whilst I stayed was very friendly and helpful. (It’s terrible but after two and a bit months I’ve forgotten her name). The shower and toilet block were very new looking and clean. The kitchen was well set-up and modern also. The wifi was great in the kitchen.

   Lovely welcome from the lovely staff on arrival. The place and pitches are just perfect. Facilities spotless. The location perfect not too far from Edinburgh driving or by the near train station. We wished we could have stay longer. I just managed only one beautiful walk out of the site to the little canal in the middle of the night with my dog! It was amazing (Blame the Edinburgh Fringe). Peaceful and quiet and very clean site. Thank you all!

   Quiet and peaceful location, but within easy reach of the motorway network, and also the tram into Edinburgh from the Ingliston Park & Ride. Also, gym facilities available 2 minutes down the road at the Climbing Centre & they do a daily rate. The owners clearly take a great pride in the place...kitchen facilities amongst the best you'll find.

   We stayed two nights in our campervan. Nice location but we heard loads of planes and trains Great toilet facilities and little shop I would definitely return if we were to visit Edinburgh again

   We stayed In one of the lodges, it was fantastic. There is a scenic walk down to the canal. Edinburgh has fairly easy access via the park and ride. Would highly recommend!

   Stayed at this local site in our tourer whilst work being done at home. Could not have chosen better. Friendly welcome and excellent fully serviced pitch. Showers would benefit from makeover but fully functional and adequate.
