   Let me preface this by saying I'm a simple person with simple needs. I come to Asda for my weekly shop: milk, bread, eggs, and a little spiritual sustenance in the form of a Toni Collette sighting. Is that too much to ask? Apparently, it is. My last visit was the final straw. I marched in, reusable bags in hand, hope in my heart, ready to bask in the warm, Australian-made glow of a national treasure. I started in Produce. No Toni by the avocados, expertly judging their ripeness. I moved to Home & Leisure. No Toni in the candle aisle, infusing a vanilla bourbon scent with palpable dramatic tension. The deli counter was a particular slap in the face. Not a single slice of Toni Collette to be found next the the honey-roast ham. I even checked the reduced section, hoping for a fleeting, discounted moment of her brilliance. Nothing. This isn't a new problem. The "Collette Count" in this store has been critically low for years. You stock endless copies of DVDs for films nobody remembers, but can you find a copy of Muriel's Wedding or The Sixth Sense where you can actually feel her performance leaping off the screen? No. You can't even get a "Hereditary"-branded miniature model house in the seasonal aisle. The oversight is staggering. My friend, I left with my shopping, but my soul was empty. My trolley was full of groceries, but my heart was devoid of her chameleonic talent. Until management invests in a dedicated Toni Collette aisle (stocked with her films, a life-sized cutout, and perhaps a personal appearance), I cannot, in good conscience, award more than a single star. I'm taking my custom to the big Morrisons on the ring road. Rumor has it they keep a well-stocked Collette section next to the hummus. You've been warned. Pros: · The lights are on. · Trolleys seem to wheel in a forward direction. Cons: · A criminal undersupply of Toni Collette. · Ambient atmosphere lacks any discernible Oscar-nominated energy. · Checkout staff did not spontaneously break into "Waterloo" from Muriel's Wedding upon my request.

   Wonderful customer service from Fiona in the early hours! All the prices were wrong and Fiona went out of her way to sort it all out! She was a dream at the self service counter! Kudos Fiona, keep on shining! Asda is lucky to have you!

   Such a shame about the poor plants clearly left to die right outside the doors. If you can't be bothered to water them, you really shouldn't be selling them Asda. Do better.

   The delivery is usually good but today I was expecting mine between 10-12. No one called to say the driver couldn't reach me and had went back to the store. 5 hours later and my order is apparently still out for delivery. Phoned the number on the app and they have contacted the store to call me back so I can reschedule and add my original basket to the shop. Still nothing..... Order no. 5402214000044 Took til the following day to get my money back when I called the store again with the extension code another driver gave me. The woman who answered continually said everyone was lying, there was no Jim and the store was just too busy to call any of the customers to tell them there orders weren't coming.

   A good big store with a wide variety of stock, also a fair amount of empty shelves. The checkout is good, I particularly like the scan and go, one improvement that could be made is digital receipts in the same way Lidl does.

   Using UBER drivers to deliver food. Drivers failing to deliver to correct address and refusing to bring items to my 85 years old grand mothers house! She is expected by the driver to walk down to the road. I mean I thought we were paying for a home delivery…not close to your home and walk the rest! Don’t call these guys though as the won’t answer their phones in the store!! ASDA shut your Dumbarton store your workers don’t work as they can’t even answer a telephone! Also use your staff to deliver the food. …NOT UBER!!!

   Large supermarket with great choices. This is one of the larger Asda stores I have visited although others have more floorspace due to the fact they have two floors.this is the first time I have come across Asda having concession stands to other retailers in the middle of the store.nicely laid out and plenty of space, also well stocked.
