   A friend and I were in Glasgow’s John Lewis today. Our shopping experience was, as usual, excellent: the staff, in particular Donna, were exceptionally helpful and friendly. There was an excellent selection of goods throughout the store and the sale prices were very tempting. Sadly our restaurant experience wasn’t quite so good. A few minutes after 1 pm some salad ingredients had run out so I couldn’t get the salad of my choice and my friend didn’t enjoy her toastie though the soup was lovely. This store’s Ladies toilets need refurbishment. The floor of the toilets weren’t clean and when I flushed the toilet the handle literally fell off!

   John Lewis is one of the few remaining department stores. Good value, high quality, good clean toilets, baby facilities and choices for food/ coffee if you need a break from shopping. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

   Decided to pop into John Lewis in response to their 50% off fragrance offers. After being so very disappointed with the Boots, so called ‘50% Off’ deals, I was delighted to find that John Lewis actually honour, what they actually advertise and as such, they got all my business which consisted of 4 bottles of fragrance ! That’s how a stores should conduct their business…! Well Done John Lewis, you’ve certainly got my support !

   Fantastic staff! I popped in today to look at dress I seen online. Unfortunately the brand wasn't stocked in store. However the two sale assistants helped me look at other dresses which could be suitable and the personal stylist even helped. She picked out dresses I would think would be my style or shape and was pleasantly surprised! Thank you ladies so much! Excellent customer service and help.

   Very wide variety of goods to buy. Set over three levels, this shop has electronics, electrical goods and toys downstairs. It has an excellent selection of toys. Men's wear and home wear on the next floor. Cutlery, dining sets. Home furnishings and fabric. Curtains, blinds and glass wear. It is all here. Perfumes and women's wear upmthe stairs with a restaurant too. The toilets are clean and easy to find too. The members of staff I have had to speak with are always friendly and helpful.

   Here every Christmas and only Christmas. Not because it's an unenjoyable place to be, au contraire, it's always got what I need, has a good returns policy (my Christmas gift choosing leave s a lot to be desired), a toilet (over 40yo now) which is essential and it's never that busy at the tills. Why only Christmas tho I hear you cry? Oh, you didn't? Fine then.

   John Lewis still a very pleasant place to shop Good display of bathroom accessories and lighting. These were the areas in which we were buying. The Place To Eat had lovely cakes, fresh scones and tray bakes. Staff were pleasant and worked very hard in this area.
