A great wee zoo. Itβs a tiny little place, but that means you can see all the animals for as long as you like! I took my 2 year old, and he loved it. It was the perfect size for him to walk around and have some independence, but I could always see him. The viewing areas are also very child friendly. I was delighted when the zoo keeper brought some treats for the lemurs so theyβd come out of their enclosure and my son could see them up close. She also brought over a bearded dragon for him to interact with (safely!). He hasnβt stopped talking about it! Would absolutely recommend for smaller children, 10/10!

For the price you pay to get in it's a nice 1/2 day to take children. Up close and personal with some animals and staff were friendly I would definitely come back here and look forward to my next visit. Canteen onsite slightly pricey but the food was nice and made fresh.

Dropped in for a visit for somewhere different to have a zoo visit with the kids. After reading reviews I knew it would be small and I do feel that the prices do reflect this. It's well kept and the lemur walk was definitely a favourite. They also have a large cafe, a small outdoor playpark, small gift shop and lovely clean toilet facilities. Lots of space for parking which is free. Overall we spent around an hour and half taking our time. For a zoo just finding its feet it is worth a little visit if in the area.

Sweet and peaceful wee zoo with Zebras and a Fosa. Great for very small children who are learning to walk, or need a low stimulation environment, as not very crowded, and very small. You could probably see it in half an hour. A few things that could be improved however, are the bathrooms were not working, and not very clean. Also it was hard to see the animals behind windows, as the windows were really dirty and hadnβt been cleaned in a long time (cobwebs and all). The gift shop has eco friendly toys which is nice, but could maybe use a wider selection of books? A few more play areas like a duplo table, or a sand pit might help make the experience a bit more worth the entrance fee (Β£23 for two adults and one child over 2 or cheaper if booked online).

Sorry! Only going to give one star to this place. We visited in Feb, so winter season. The zoo needs a good bit of love and repair. The recent (years ago) fire destroying their soft play is still a ruin, half the enclosures were closed or broken, the kids amusements were broken and stole our coins. The cafe was the most functional section. We got served one at a time for 3 of us. One of the pizzas was frozen. Took 30 mins to receive all 3. Prices are very high for tiny portions. Managed to chalk up Β£50 for a snack. Local pubs on the approaches would be a better bet. Sorry I canβt support you guys, wish you all the luck but we wonβt be back

Very small but we still had a great afternoon. Got a great deal on Wowcher for our tickets. There's a nice walk next to it with swans and ducks and beautiful views we all enjoyed to

Great small zoo, not a huge variety of animals but a really interactive experience where you can get up closer to the animals than other parks and even got to hold a snake at their meet the beasties demonstration. Absolutely worth the money, great value, low cost family day out.

A wonderful experience. The lemur walk through was worth the visit alone, the other animals were a bonus. Getting up so close to the lemurs was incredible. The Meerkats were cute too and very cheeky. It's a small zoo but with such a low admission fee it really is a bargain and absolutely worth visiting. The cafe was great, good coffee and friendly staff. Will definitely be back!
