   Asked for a size 8.5 and I was brought down a size 11, fine I’ll just tell them and ask them to change it not an issue at all right? Wrong the two lads who were just on the floor were to interested in looking like they were from ofb then actually doing their, They reminded me of the people who had been excluded from high school waiting outside the front gates for their pals to come out. Shame because then other staff on the till were incredibly friendly but that doesn’t matter when they aren’t the first members of staff that you see.

   If ever you need a reminder why high street is struggling at the expense of online shopping, come to this store… Loads of staff doing nothing, but not enough to open the changing rooms. Till queues on a quiet Sunday puts you off buying anything…

   My family and I came into the JD store looking for a hoodie. We werent greeted at all when we were walking around the store and staff were too busy talking in a circle nearby to offer any assistance. When we did end up asking a small request to get a jumper off the shelf, they did so without a word and then moved 10 feet over to continue talking. We were disgusted by the lack of customer service and were even more disappointed when we came to pay. The women behind the counter visably rolled her eyes and sighed when we walked over, immediatly trying to call someone else over to serve instead. She ended up serving us instead of standing around in silence, but she didnt say a word the whole time except for "here you go" at the end of the transaction. This store should have some standards when it comes to customer service, we were very disappointed. Won't be coming back.

   I had a very disappointing experience at this JD store. I asked to exchange a shoe for a different size — the pair I returned was practically new, with just a minor dust mark. Instead of handling the request professionally, both the store manager and assistant manager were extremely rude and dismissive. One of them even made a sarcastic comment, saying, “There are no puddles in the store that would make it dirty,” which was uncalled for and insulting. As a person of color, I also felt that their tone and behavior towards me were racially biased — something no customer should ever have to deal with. The cashier at the till was equally unhelpful and dismissive, showing zero courtesy. I’ve always trusted JD for good service, but this experience left me feeling humiliated and unwelcome. I hope JD takes such behavior seriously and provides proper training to staff on respect and customer service.

   The shoe section didn't have much to offer could do with a bit more of a verity. But then I popped upstairs and was blown away by the verity in clothing compared to the Bristol store and cribbs store. So will be back again for sure. Just for ease of access compared to other places. But saying that not sure if they have a lift or wheel chair ramp. But worth the trip if you need to see things before you buy them like I do

   Great Store. Very clean and well laid out so you can actually walk around unlike some of the JD Stores! All the staff are super helpful and seem happy to be there too. Polar opposite to the Bristol Store where you can’t even get a grunt out of most staff members! Bottle whatever you are doing in the Bath Store and send it to your less successful Stores, you won’t go wrong!

   Nice large sports shop. Good selection of premium brand trainers and clothing. More of a fashion store than a sports store, had a few balls - but didn't see any other sports stuff Definitely not the cheapest place but there is a good selection and the staff were helpful and polite.
