The worst-run pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of using. My prescription is constantly wrong and often isn’t ordered in at all, I once had to go back 4 times because they kept getting it wrong. Staff usually wander off and don’t come back for minutes at a time. The place needs some serious work.
Helpful pharmacist/ pharmacy assistant. They did not have the cheaper brands of the product I needed, but were able to provide me with a 'brand name' exact equivalent which cost x£ more, with the proper advice for the over the counter only product.
Great service and never had an issue, can't usually collect prescriptions between 1:30pm - 2pm due to pharmacist on lunch, friendly bunch
Please avoid this chemist. It’s run by a team of unprofessionals and amateurs. No one to serve you ,waiting for a long time for someone to attend to you. Long waits for medicine and the pharmacist thinks it’s ok to round of your tablets to the nearest digit,usually less. I am now using a different chemist. Not boots. This has been happening for years now and the head office need to sort this out. Its disgraceful.
I don't need a prescription often. When I do I tend to try here first. Never again. Lack of stock seems to be a recurring issue. They will consistently advise that the medication has been ordered. On this occasion I have discovered by visiting another boots outlet that there is a supply problem with the manufacturer. No such issues at Clark. I wonder how long Boots would have kept me waiting. I dread to think about how people with serious conditions are treated.
Zero compassion from the staff and prescriptions arrive late! Specifically phoned and asked to wait literally 1 minute when I was already crossing the road around the corner and tried to explain I was stuck in a traffic and travelled one hour, that I missed one day of tablets already because it arrived too late at a pharmacy, but no humanity or understanding whatsoever, deeply disappointed!
I have used this Boots pharmacy on Ferry Road, Edinburgh, for over 10 years, and they have always been amazing. Since my cancer diagnosis 4.5 years ago; they have gone above and beyond! They are always so kind on the phone, and do their best to get my medication organised as quickly as possible. The other day I spoke to Mr Gillan, and I was feeling so ill that he said the pharmacy would deliver my meds the following morning, such a great service. Thank you to all who work there.
Verry Poor Service !! Spoke to staff in the morning about a prescription to be collected and was told that it would be ready for 2pm. Went in at 3pm to collect it only to find out that they have no idea about the prescription at all. This is NOT just a 1 time thing, and has actually happened 4 times now where they tell you to come in and all will be ready, when infact they just mix up your prescription. Probably the WORST Chemist in Edinburgh !.
Waited 15 minutes to hand in a prescription. Eventually had to give up. Long queue and one of the staff was more interested in dusting the stairs than she was on serving customers.
Helpful friendly staff, apart from one of the pharmacists who was pretty useless in assisting with a minor ailment. About half the time I went in there was a junky there pacing and waiting on methadone, unfortunately they get served in front of any queue.
