   Absolutely shocking pharmacy went here for some supply’s for my partner that was in really bad back pain and when I approached the store with all lights on and a staff member floating about in the back the doors were locked I assumed maybe skeleton staff on there lunch break as it’s not long after Xmas I then waited outside in the car to then watch 3 more staff members walk in and lock the door behind them what’s the point in the pharmacy being open and the staff getting paid for doing nothing absolute joke of a pharmacy

   This is a very small branch of Boots with only 3 staff members including the pharmacist. They’ve always been very helpful and knowledgeable. I noticed other reviewers leaving bad feedback based on the fact that this branch closes each day between 1pm - 2pm. This occurs because by law, the dispensing pharmacist must be available onsite at all times when medicine is being handed over to customers….even if by non-pharmacist staff. It’s for patient safety. Therefore that branch MUST close for 1 hour else the one and only pharmacist would not be able to take a break during the entire working day. Obviously, the 2 other staff members, will have to take their break at the same time. They cannot stagger staff breaks as they only have 3 staff, this is a very busy branch and all 3 members must therefore be on duty at the same time.

   The closing in the middle of the day (the only time many people can get to a chemist) is very frustrating. Unclear why this pharmacy needs to close for lunch when others don't

   Good Helpful staff Sometimes run short of important medicine stock which is the case may be will all the boots as they have a common wholeseller delivery. Good location. Spacious. Allows bicycles to come indoors to in case of rains. Modest opinion and always ready to serve. Young staff

   Professional service. I use this particular pharmacy not only because of it's convenient location for myself, but as well as the quick prescription service (very rarely they are out of a medicine one needs, and if so, the delivery of it usually takes just few hours) and reliable & caring pharmacist running the place. If you need a good advice on anything, ask for Hannah - very knowledgeable and happy to help pharmacist lady.
