This is where I always get my prescriptions, nice staff and no wait in line. Its just simply great. There are other stores around like the post office, marmara (an eatry) fish and chips, a convenience store and a lot more.

Very nice pharmacy well stocked with medicine , staff prompt to help all the time , very friendly and well located next to the main road. Bus stop not far and free parking at the store front ( road ) .

Staff members are very nice especially the new tall female at the front. I hope she will stay here. I don't know if there is still trouble with picking up medication after ordering from the GP as it was before because now we pick up our prescription ourselves and then come here. This way I get the medication I need immediately and don't have to come back twice.

I have never had a problem with this pharmacy until, because of Covid19, I had to arrange for them to collect my prescription. I made two visits to collect my prescription but it wasn't there. I had to contact my doctor who assured me it had been collected. I phoned them and was told it might be at their other branch. They asked me to phone back! Not sure why they couldn't phone me or why they didn't check with their other branch earlier. On phoning back I discovered it was at the other branch and they would get it later. I found the way they handled this was clumsy and unhelpful. I was expected to do all the leg room.

Staff helpful. I've never really saw a huge wait in this branch. There is a good variety of stock to buy such as plasters and deodorants etc. If your seeking pharmaceutical advice to potentially avoid making a GP appointment, make a point of asking to speak with the pharmacist. The pharmacist isn't generally in sight as they tend to be making prescriptions confidentially, hence not in view. You may have to wait 5 minutes at most to speak with the qualified pharmacist. There's a "consultation room" of which if you wanted to discuss anything they have the facility to provide you with some privacy while discussing any concerns or questions regarding prescriptions or purchases from them. This is an asset to this pharmacy. Majority of staff working here have a good knowledge surrounding common health questions. The shop is of a good size, looks as though it could accommodate a wheelchair no problem. The cleanliness of the shop is of a high standard. It is apparent on just stepping into the store. The shelves and stock are orderly and clearly displayed. The prices are reasonable. For people unaware, if you're are claiming benefits and money is a struggle, you are entitled to "minor ailments". This is a government scheme where you can receive some medicine's without a prescription and not pay. Paracetamol is one thing that you can ask for from minor ailments, although ibuprofen isn't. Pharmacists are unlikely to inform you you can be entitled to it for free. As nobody pays for prescriptions they are not aware of your financial circumstances. If you happen to be on benefits and struggling with finances I'd ask before purchasing anything without a prescription, if it's covered in "minor ailments"? Staff are helpful and free to give advice and answer as many questions you feel necessary, without making you feel an inconvenience. Much appreciated as health anxieties can be an issue for many.
