Since the takeover of the new owners the service at East Craig’s Pharmacy has been excellent, All the staff are very polite and friendly. I had the ear wax removal service and they did a great job in a professional manner. I would highly recommend their travel clinic to anyone as they offer many great services.

I recently took my dad (90) to have ear wax removed from both blocked ears. He also suffers from mixed dementia. This was not a straightforward matter as the wax was positioned close to the ear drums. Three appointments were required. From the outset Alba was so impressive. She was gentle, caring and empathetic. As a result his blockages were cleared with hearing greatly improved. My thanks to Alba for the excellent service provided and to Scott who supported her with the delicate techniques involved.
All staff members are so pleasant and kind in this pharmacy! I come regularly for my prescriptions, but recently had to do ear wax removal for a blocked ear. I was looked after by two different members of staff that were both super pleasant and professional. Really nice to have such a nice pharmacy in the community!
Lovely staff, horrible service. People waiting outside in rain due to shortness of staff. It was pretty bad not long ago as I couldn't get my medications form there and I needed to ask my GP to get prescriptions sent out to another pharmacy not that close to that one.
Worst customer experience.To collect medicine prescribed by NHS they are making me crazy.Everytime they are saying haven’t received your prescription and again going to nhs and after bringing prescription saying out of stock and come back later when i go again saying no prescription or we are new staff here so don’t know anything.its really an emergency and every single person in that pharmacy are Getting frustrated with the service
Totally gone downhill. Last week I phoned to ask if my weekly tablet box could be delivered as I had covid. Was told the delivery driver had left on his deliveries and to get a neighbour to collect. I explained my neighbours were elderly and this was not an option. Was then told well there was nothing else they could do. I live two minutes by car/van from this chemist. I don’t drive. I’m sure the driver could have come back down to me after his deliveries in the circumstances. I had no option but to attend and collect my tablet box myself. Something I was definitely uncomfortable with but I need my medication. This woman’s attitude was disgusting.
Booked our private flu jabs here and when we went up the store was closed! Called up the next day and was told they don't have enough staff so they are not doing flu jabs! Even I booked the appointments months ago and no one had the decency to call and cancel. It will only take 1 minute to let us know our appointments been cancelled or even a message or an email. I asked if they will get us another slots, and I was told no and we have to just try to get another slots, WHAT?! Really disappointed and will not be booking any future appointments at this store and I will stick to Boots!
Staff here are rude, slow and unhelpful. Never seem to be able to find your prescription while everyone wanders around behind the counter asking each other where everything is!? Seems chaotic. Was recently given no help or advice followed by literal shoulder shrugging so had to go to Omnicare on nearby Queensferry road where I received a far superior service. Unless this chemist is your only option, go elsewhere.
