    I haven't had any dealings with this company but saw the review from Nadia who has also left a review. I hope she see this. Look into claiming the £2000 deposit from Amex as they are jointly liable for the whole amount even if you didn't pay the £2000 deposit with the Amex card. Simply put if you pay for a £2000 holiday using £1900 cash and £100 on a credit card and holiday company goes bust the credit card company is liable for the entire amount, not just the amount paid using the card.     I too have lost money (paid in cash) with excuses made as to why new sink unit not yet fitted. My guess is she does not have a kitchen fitter to do the jobs promised and, instead of being honest and telling customers what's wrong, just leaving you hanging with texts and emails not answered.. Very disappoimted as I thought she was an honrst person.

    Avoid this business - Failed Delivery, Miscommunication, and Refund Dispute (£5,850 Lost) We are posting this detailed review to warn others about our experience with Dreams Kitchens Ltd, directed by Laura Fotheringham, concerning a bespoke kitchen order that was eventually cancelled due to chronic delays and a total failure in communication. Timeline of Failure: 10 June 2025: Initial deposit of £2,000 paid via bank transfer. We were assured this was sufficient. 4 July 2025: Contract signed. 31 July 2025: After being requested to pay more than agreed, a second deposit of £3,850 was paid via American Express, bringing the total deposit to £5,850. Agreed Delivery: The kitchen was promised within three weeks of the final payment/measurement, expected around 21 August 2025. Repeated Delays & False Promises: The deadline was missed. We were given conflicting reasons for the delay, including "incorrect order preparation by the supplier" and later, the "raw material for the doors not arriving from Italy until the end of September." Communication Shutdown: Beginning in mid-September, the Director, Laura Fotheringham, consistently ignored our emails, calls, and texts. Our mother was forced to visit the shop in person twice just to get an update. 17 September 2025: We formally cancelled the order due to the breach of contract and lost confidence, demanding a full refund. Current Status: Laura Fotheringham has failed to refund the money. We have successfully disputed the £3,850 via American Express, but she has refused to return the remaining £2,000 paid by bank transfer. This company failed to deliver a bespoke kitchen, missed multiple deadlines, and then ceased all proactive communication. Crucially, Laura Fotheringham was explicitly aware that we had been let down and suffered losses from three previous builders/suppliers and personally assured us that this order would not result in the same outcome. Her subsequent actions represent a profound breach of that trust. We have been forced to initiate legal action to recover the remaining £2,000 deposit. We strongly advise against using Dreams Kitchens Ltd due to the massive stress, anxiety, and financial risk involved. Honest communication and fulfilling contractual obligations were completely absent.
