Ordered boots over a week ago that lied on the phone saying been sent out rang back today to be told there gonna try send out today but guess what not been done again so will be getting money back and never buying from again stay away
What disappointing service from this brand. I ordered some boots as a Christmas present. Rather than taking 3-7 business days to be delivered they took 11 and it was therefore too late for me to gift to the person I was travelling to see. Because they had a statement saying there may be delays they won't cover the cost of return postage. If they had taken the full 7 days I'd understand but 11 is double that. On top of this I received no order confirmation so had to call them about it and then when I emailed regarding the return I had no response for 2 weeks so had to call again. All in all really poor customer service and not a retailer I'd buy from again. To not see all the errors and offer free return postage as a gesture of goodwill is just poor form in my opinion. Rather than buying direct I should have bought them on Amazon where they were the same price and you get free return postage.
Had two pairs of Gatscombe boots , both had the same fault ( sole coming away from shoe ). Very poor customer service , rude & abrupt when I eventually got hold of them. Ignoring emails , messages online she phone message too. . Refusing to provide a solution , repair , refund or exchange even though boots only used 15/20 weeks out of the year to walk my dog and reported just within warranty . Boots obviously poorly made . Don’t buy . Worth spending more for a better more reputable boot. Very disappointed . Waste of money
Love these boots, Cabotswood Amberley, first pair lasted about 3 years, on my second pair. Use them most days for walking my dog. When needed in the future will definitely get another pair. I do order up a size.
I have had two emails and one facebook message to this company ignored. I would simply like to return a pair of boots. Do not buy from Cabotswood unless you are prepared for terrible after sales service.
This is a con. Don’t go near these with a barge pole. We got caught by their previous incarnation. They take you money, send products that are absolutely not saleable quality and then will not accept any returns nor refund any monies. Don’t waste your money.
Saw them online. Ordered a pair of amberley oak bison boots. Perfect delivery arrived in 2 days. Downside was too small even though I ordered a size bigger than what I am . Very dissapointed
Had a really poor experience of this brand. Bought at a country store in Wiiltshire 18 months ago for £150 and worn for about 12 weeks over 2 winters only. Thr zip broke last November. The suppliers did not want to know as were more than a year old and ignored all e mail contact. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend this brand for robust country wear. My Clark’e boots bought in 2012 for £69.00 were a much better buy. A total rip off.
