   It’s such a shame to only give 2 stars. The staff are amazing. 5 stars for the staff. Always friendly and helpful. Thanks to Chris (manager ) and thanks to hazel,Donna ,Julie ,Mitzi, Kerry, Dave ….. to name a few. It’s the prices that let the place down. 2 pizzas £14 and a can of monster £2.90. I would love to shop locally but at these prices I’ll be going to Tesco

   I visited the local store on Friday. The young gentleman with long hair and glasses whom was a supervisor in the store was magnificent. I struggled to locate my favourite bean brand due to my poor eye sight and he helped me with humour and dignity. I will certainly return to this local store even though it is not my nearest shop, I feel that such excellent customer service is deserving of my custom. Please pass on my thanks to young gentlemen; tell him that Olive got home safe and I did indeed have my beans on toast. It was delightful. I wish him all the best.

   Knocked on the locked door at 9.51pm this evening, staff refused to open up even though they are supposed to be open until 10pm! Is this a public service provider or not? For a village shop the attitude sucks

   Absolutely disgusting customer service from this store and manager. Went to post a parcel and was told post office was shut for 20 mins while they processed a delivery. I waited patiently and turned away other customers and there was no signage up to advise it was closed. The staff then decided to serve from the shop counter?!? When questioned I was advised that they can choose which counter to serve from. I was advised that my parcel would take 3.5 minutes to process. And when I advised they would spend longer than that serving the other customers I was advised to go to another post office. I did this and went to 311 pensby road, what a difference! Fantastic service, everything fully explained with a smile. Oh and it took 1 min 6 secs. Learn how to treat your customers and how to do your job!

   Just walked with a parcel to post and to get some bits and pieces Sunday evening as they advertise that they are open till 22:00hrs which is really convenient. I got there at 21:50hrs and found the door locked, I saw a member of staff standing 5m from me inside the shop so I tapped on the window twice were he definitely heard me but turned the opposite way and walked away into the back. Just really annoyed!
