Did not check any Google reviews before walking in and turns out it's such a surprise. Special thanks to Lucas who served me and recommended the "haggis bon bon" & special watermelon cocktail which was off the menu. Enjoy all the food & drinks, only the cheesecake wasn't rlly my preference. Also, level 2 was more quiet & chill. Definitely suitable for solo travellers too even if you are not coming in a group.

Visited Haggis and Whisky House with my girlfriend and had another fantastic experience. We started with an Old Fashioned cocktail, which was expertly prepared and a perfect start to the evening. For mains, I had Robert Burns’ Famous Haggis, served on a bed of potato and turnip — rich, flavorful, and traditional. My girlfriend went for the cod fish and chips, which was perfectly cooked. To finish, we enjoyed a dram of Islay 10-year LAPHROAIG, rounding off the meal beautifully. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality, service, and atmosphere make it well worth it. A must-visit for anyone looking for authentic Scottish cuisine and a great whisky selection.

The Princess Diana haggis was really delicious. Smoked Scottish Salmon Bites and Scotch Eggs did not disappoint. Prompt and friendly service. Good whisky range.

If you want to try haggis and whisky, this is the place to go! The haggis was incredible - a generous portion, packed with flavour, and perfectly cooked. I added the whisky sauce which was definitely the right call, well-seasoned and served at just the right temperature. I also tried the cranachan, a traditional Scottish dessert made with oats, whipped cream, raspberries and whisky. It had a really unique and interesting flavour profile though the whisky can come through quite strong if you don't mix it well! Service was excellent, quick, attentive and genuinely friendly. They have a wide selection of whiskies from different regions, and the staff are super knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations. Will definitely be back!

Firstly I just like to say that the Haggis was the best I’ve ever had!! The bar/restaurant has a quirky and fun atmosphere, perfect for a night out with friends. Our waiter was an absolute laugh and made the experience even better. My wife had the fish which was delicious. We also shared the Haggis balls which were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and had a great flavor. This will be the first place I’ll be heading to when I return to Edinburgh!

Beautiful place, great hostesses and the food is amazing! Had a wonderful dinner with my husband first time in town and I definitely recommend it! Their haggies is a must eat. Don't forget to add the whiskey sauce. We got the salmon bites which was really good, the lamb burger and the goat cheese with beetroot and rocket. Everything so fresh and tasty! Well done to the chef!!! And of course we had some smoked whiskey....to digest...worth every penny!

They earn their 5 stars easily, first of all, their Haggis is something of a miracle. It's nice it's earthy, it's just the right amount of chewy to allow your tongue to savour it's depth and their whisky sauce is the dot on the I. Add to that a crew that is knowledgeable, friendly, let's you taste their favorite whisky and stands ready with a bit of warmth and a conversation, what more would the weary wanderer want? Or do f your just visiting and sticking to the city, go there they will welcome you to paradise.

We decided to eat here because it is the only place to offer gluten free haggis and I wanted to taste one. But the 5 start are not only for that but also the food was really good (haggis and also sausages) and the waiter was also really helpful with the wishy choice that again was a first for us. The interior is lovely too. A suggestion is to arrive early because there are few seats and the kitchen is not open until late.
