Food was not great and the restaurant is run by around four people. The food is cheap however and the waiters are always very friendly and have a good sense of humour

The kitchen staff play terrible music loudly on their cheap speakers (at least in) the mornings. Makes you want to throw up your breakfast and leave. Besides how bad the music is, it competes with the hotel’s own music which is weird. Manager did nothing meaningful about it. Why management allows this is beyond my understanding when it is such a terrible customer experience. In addition we made the mistake of having dinner here after a long day of touring the city. Ordered an entree and an extra side salad. This is the side salad I paid 3.99£ for. This amount is NOT a salad. It is a GARNISH. Shame on them for charging so much for such a tiny amount of salad with no dressing. After inquiring about this the manager removed it from the bill. We also ordered a nachos starter and we got a plate full of the crumbs from the bottom of the bag. Almost no chip was bigger than your index fingernail. Seriously, avoid this place for all meals.

Poor breakfast. Coffee was good but fruit salad boring. Over baked sausages with tough as old boots skin. Eggs were all fried an hour or so ago.

The food was good, however they never have any salads. Our table was booked for 8:00pm and we finished our main course at around 8:40pm. The three waiters were standing and chatting until about 8:55 when one of them finally cleared our plates. We waited for the dessert menu but it never came then we found out the restaurant closed at 9:00pm.

Poor service ordering food to take to your room. Waited ages to order after the waiter disappeared and forgot about us. We then waited ages for overcooked food and they forgot one of the sides. Staff were very unorganised and didn’t make it clear about payment either. Would be a lot easier if you could just order food direct to the room instead of waiting around in the bar.

This bar/restaurant combination is located inside the Premier Inn hotel. Modern interior, full bar, menu with lots of options for both meat lovers and vegetarians. It offers burgers, steaks, salads, and dishes with an Asian twist. We had the Oyster Mushroom Salad, which was fresh and flavorful with a side of Sweet Potato Fries, and the Sweet Potato/Spinach/Feta Lasagna. My dessert, vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce was surprisingly below average. It came very cold, but even after letting it warm up a bit, there was little vanilla flavor, and the chocolate sauce was not memorable at all. That was a pity, because the other dishes were good. Service was a bit slow and unexperienced, but friendly.
