The burger was not bad, but the fish and chips is quite under fried, batter is still wet, fish is soggy, and not marinated.. very bland... Service staff was good, environment and design of the place looks awesome!

Nice place! Friendly staff was quick to serve the food which was delicious. I've ordered the Highland Burger and the fries with Chicken topping,it was a bit spicy and that only made the Tennent's draught beer taste even better. Thanks for the experience!

We came in here for breakfast after an early travel day. The place has a very nice interior with racing antiques all over the walls. The service was great and the food aswell!

The Filling Station is a fantastic spot for American-style comfort food in the heart of Edinburgh’s High Street. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive, making for an enjoyable dining experience. I really enjoyed my burger it was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The food overall was great, with a solid selection of burgers, pizzas, steaks, and cocktails, all served fresh and tasty. The outdoor seating is a nice bonus, especially with the weather is right for enjoying a cocktail while people watching on the Royal Mile. Overall, if you're looking for a relaxed dining experience with great food and quick service, This place is a solid choice!

Stopped by this place after a guided city tour. Had to wait to be seated as there was no one in the front. The reviews on the food were mixed so I had to appetizers for a quick fuel up. No issues there

Great experience! Location is optimal, right next to the cathedral and the tourist office. The restaurant wasn't busy when we went there (Tuesday night around 7), the atmosphere was cosy and pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful, taking particular care in asking for any food allergies right from the start, which I really appreciated. Not cheap but reasonable prices for the privileged location, and a good quality/price ratio. They even made the haggis taste good ;)

Simple, tasty food, done right. Despite its size, the restaurants cosy atmosphere and friendly staff are always inviting. Its large menu may seem a little daunting, however there are definitely a few items worth checking out. Most of all, the Filling Station offers great value for money, with large, filling, American style dishes, at a generally reasonable price. Always a decent bet for Edinburgh local and tourist alike.

The restaurant appeared clean and the server was friendly and helpful. The haggis bites were very good. The fish was very good; the chips were average. The food was delivered quickly. Overall, it’s a good place in the Royal Mile.
