   My name is Mike. I Visited Grounded Fishponds today @ 0930hrs , To my horror the cafe smelt like a brewery which was unpleasant, I ordered a cappincino overheard manager ask was the milk alright when I ask what he meant he said he had asked if there was enough milk. I let it go however I am sure what I heard after 2 cups I had to rush home with an upset stomach and a sickly taste in my mouth. I rarely write reviews however although waitress was very pleasant . This place has turned into a horror show never ever again. A shame this place has gone really far downhill

   Possibly the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Generic sausages undercooked bacon and a mushroom that was drieret than the Sierra Nevada all served by a 17 year old with the personality of a frog.

   The person behind the counter was lovely no problems with that but the katsu chicken burger was the worst thing I've been served in a restaurant for as long as I can remember. The chicken was an odd colour, really thin and like leather, and the batter was oily and tasted very odd. Had a few bites and left it. Really odd as fries and onions rings perfectly fine. Partner did not like theirs either but ate it. £17 quite pricey wouldn't have minded if it was edible. Really quiet, haven't been to Grounded Church Road for a while and vibe in general felt different. Really disappointing.

   Top breakfast, top service, quickly served. Lovely breakfast. I also had a lovely mug to tea to top it off. Perfecto Keep up the good work. Had the medium breakfast this time. Absolutely glorious. Nice cup of tea as well ( it would be nice to have the option of a pot ). Can't wait til my next visit.

   I find this Grounded a bit hit and miss. It’s a cute place to have a coffee (or a tasty mocha) and the staff are always super friendly. I’ve had food at other Grounded’s and ordered the same thing on Church Road and it’s not been as nice. That said, my friend loves the burgers here!

   Had coffee from here before and it was chill, but this time the coffee was absolutely beautiful! Not sure if they changed the beans or got new training or what but it was a class flat white. Also got the olives which were a more generous portion than I've been used too closer to the centre in Bristol. Staff were friendly and kind, and the music was a good level. All in all, yes to this cafe check it out after a cute walk in the park x

   My stalwart coffee shop for as long as I've lived in the area. Open from early until later than most places. It's increasingly hard to find what I guess is called 'cafe culture' these days, but I often go there to write and unlike some places I've never been made to feel I'm outstaying my welcome. Great coffee and cakes, and also fantastic freshly made pizzas of an evening if you're looking for a bigger meal. Also, in the summer the patio out back is full of tiny songbirds and robins!

   Cold day and a customer smoking near the open doorway. My friend closed the door. Guy working in there almost ran to reopen it saying how hot he was working in there . Other customer commented on his tone. Whilst I understand it can be hot in the serving areas I didn't want to breath in smoke nor have to sit in my coat. Invest in better air-conditioning for kitchen staff so they are more comfortable. Apart from that, great

   Lovely coffee shop with a tasty menu and friendly service each time I've visited. Love taking my Chihuahua in to grab a coffee and a morning walk around St George's Park. Also a nice evening place to chill, eat and have drinks with friends. Church road is awesome. Thank you for always such wonderful service :)
