   Had a wonderful time here as I always do. Max recommended a lovely whisky I’d never seen before. Marvellous DJ and more than hospitable. Think an A24 film wrapped in Ken Loach’s earnestness. Came for the Smash, stayed for the whisky. Takes American Express.

   Nice pub with a nice vibe. We stopped in during our travels and got a nice mix of beer, non alcoholic and cocktails. We were able to get a small table in the back a little further from the main bar. Very civil and able to catch up and hear one another. A DJ started when we were just finishing up and it was pretty good from what I had a chance to hear!
