This was a shocking experience, I mentioned have a gluten allergy, the member of staff looked confused, I asked for an allergy menu, or an allergy matrix, he said there wasnβt one. I asked can I eat here? he said yes, tell me what you want and I can make it gluten free. I said a cooked breakfast? The staff member then got the manager, the manager said itβs gluten free apart from the sausages have a little bit of gluten in them and the hash browns had a little bit of gluten in them was that okay? I said no itβs not as I have an allergy to gluten, he then looked confused and said umm well itβs only a little bit, I then asked for substitutions, and asked if I could have veggie sausages and other potatoes instead and he said it was okay. They looked very put out and as if I was making an absolutely unreasonable request. When the food came I asked to double check it was safe, the waitress went out after saying sheβd check with the chef and never came back, Iβve been suffering with horrid symptoms after clearly having gluten or cross contamination with something in the food. The food was mainly over cooked with cold beans. I went here at the start of the year with some friends and had a brilliant time, they catered well to my allergies and the food was great, it also clearly states on the website about being able to make accommodations for allergies. Just so disappointing the service and food was awful.

We ate at Grounded Brislington in October for a work event. The manager was really helpful with the pre-order and made sure we were all happy throughout the evening, which is tricky in a smaller venue with a large group. All the staff were lovely Food was great, very generous portions too. We'd definitely come back here

Love this place! Very relaxing atmosphere and top level service! A varied menu that has something for everyone. What more could one ask for? Definitely worth a visit when in the area.

Being a 'chain' brand, I didn't expect much from my visit to Grounded on Sandy Park Road. How pleasantly surprised I was then, that not only was the Vegan breakfast I ordered absolutley lovely (and generous in portion size) but the kind attentiveness of the two ladies serving was outstanding too - more than once enquiring to make sure that everything was ok and that I was happy. The surroundings and atmosphere were excellent too - everybody seemed very happy and contended. Well done Grounded, Briz - I'll definitely visit again.

I loved this place, generous helpings of delicious food. I had the same dishes two days in a row as I couldn't bear to have anything else. The staff are friendly at the till but I must say the service at table is a little less, but I liked it! They didn't pretend to be doing anything but serving food. Good selection of food, wine, beer and soft drinks. Food prices are slightly above average but what I had was generous and well worth it, paninis slightly less value in my opinion. My daughter lives locally so I will be returning.

Due to open at 9am and no sign of the door being unlocked and opened and was outside waiting until 9.15am. Despite trying the door, standing outside and sitting on the outdoor seating in clear view of the staff who could see me outside. Was totally ignored by the staff stood inside chatting away! Don't mind me I was going to be a paying customer and one you lost and will not be coming back. Went across the road to the deli had a lovely hot drink and food and smashing friendly service. Avoid!

Stopped by at 9:15 on a Saturday morning for a delicious breakfast. The kids cooked breakfasts (not just for kids!) are great: your choice of 3 items plus toast for under a fiver. I went bacon, sausage, hash brown and wasn't disappointed. The bacon was crispy and had a lovely smoky flavour, and the hash browns were cooked to perfection. Fast, friendly service too-a great way to start the weekend!

Took some friends out for lunch as one of them said it nice. Have to say what a gem the food was really nice the ugly burger was huge and very tasty if it had pineapple and beatroot been a 5. Such a great place for food and drinks. These places don't really exist anymore nice to see one doing well, had such a nice atmosphere staff very nice. I will be back again.

Lovely cafe/diner, cosy, clean and great music. Food is fantastic, me and my sister had a cooked breakfast and American pancakes and we were both very pleased! Staff are friendly and prices are fair :)
